  • I have had an issue for the past 2 weeks, I added some extra data as I was approaching my limit, however as soon as I did this the Data stopped working altogether.

I have made numerous calls and online web chats, and nothing has resolved the issue. The technical support team just work through a troubleshooting guide, and when that doesn't work, they just lie and assure me that in 2 hours the issue will be resolved, I guess this is their way of getting you off the phone.

I have swapped the sim for a new one at a vodafone store, this did not work, and we have confirmed that it is a network issue rather than a handset one, as my EE sim works perfectly in the same handset.

One week ago i was promised that the issue had been escalated to a higher department (?who) and that someone would contact me as i high priority. No one has contacted me, and today I have chased it up only to be told that I needed to contact the technical support team (the same ones Ive talked to numerous times) I argued that the issue should have been passed higher than them now, and was told "oh yes someone will call you soon actually" how soon? "can't say"

And to top it all off, last week a member of the technical support team informed me that it was my luckily day, as I had qualified to purchase an extra 1gig of data for the special price of £6.50! I was speaking to her because my data wasn't working, and she tried to sell me more!

Awful, Awful company, I just want to speak to someone who might have an idea of what the problem is, but instead i get passed around in constant circles, speaking to people who have no real knowledge or power to correct the problem.

So now I am just waiting again, I won't hold my breath, and in the mean time they can collect their money for a service they aren't providing
  • Hi everyone,
I'm trying to contact Vodafone to complain about an issue but my searching are only coming up with the contact us page. I want something more direct can anyone point me in the right direction.

    Hi Vodafone Rep

Can you post an email address or phone number where someone can actually help please? I cannot use my Vodafone phone, so I have tried calling from my company mobile but cannot afford to wait on hold for 20 minutes + for someone to answer your customer services number. I have to reimburse my employer for personal calls.

I would either like you to:
    1) Fix my local mast so I can receive the service I am paying for and refund the daily cost of my contract for the period there has been no service

    or

    2) Write off the remainder of my contact and issue me a PAC code since you are not providing the service I am paying for.

I am sure this can be sorted out but you certainly don't make it easy for your customers. No wonder OFCOM says you're the most complained about mobile company!
  • Wow, I didn't realise how bad customer service could be until I had an issue with Vodafone. I have the same problem in that there seems to be no way of actually talking to a human??!

I have wasted several hours over the last few days, all I'm trying to do is find out where my new phone is which I am paying for but it has been sent to the wrong address. Please can a rep (or preferably a manager) contact me?!
  • Unless you contact them first as repeatedly guided on this thread, no they cannot. They may be a lot of things, but psychic they ain't.
  • Vodafone, umm, totally useless.
Having spent many hours trying to resolve an issue with them I'm still no further on.
Seems if it's off the "script" you have no chance of getting anywhere.
You nearly had my business, looks like I was luck never to have signed up.

Sorry don't know who your post is aimed at, but as far as I can see, the Vodafone rep does not accept pm's? If you mean contact Vodafone directly rather than through this site, then personally I have done this many many times over the last 2 weeks, and I have got nowhere.

I even posted on the official Vodafone eforum but was told that they couldn't help me there and that I should call 191 which is all I have done for the last two weeks
  • They are pathetic at customer relations.

I don't. You obviously haven't read any of this thread.
  • Ok I've found the email address and sent them a message, I'll await a response, thanks for the friendly advice.
