    Good morning everyone!

    Happy birthday Kiwichick!

Well, the WM is on and that's about as far as I've got this morning. I've run out of bread, so BM is next as soon as I finish here. Need to start loading the D/w, too. I didn't use it yesterday, as we went out to dinner (my birthday treat) and there wouldn't have been enough to make a full load.

Today, apart from getting DS2 to do his English assignment, as well as his other work, I have the children's club at church at 6pm, and also my new job (as church cleaner!) so will do half of that too.

Anyway, just wanted to wish you all a good day!
  • Hello all.

Well I'm totally freezing this morning. Got a thick throw over my knees and a steamy cup of tea beside me. Forgot to bring my hot water bottle down for a refill so I'm having to make do with the cat to warm my knees. (or would if she would just cooperate and stop getting in front of the monitor . )

Not sure what the weather is doing outside; I've no intention of sticking my nose through the curtains just yet.

Seeing as I conquered the ironing mountain yesterday, baked till the freezer was heaving and changed both boys beds - I shall spend some time today making my bedroom an 'oasis of calm', a 'haven of peace' (as Anthea Turner would say in 'Perfect Housewives') At the moment it looks like Del-boys lounge. I've got BOGOF loo rolls heaped in one corner and a big box of 'put away' food in another. :o

Hope the day brings you nice things, everyone.

Off for my drive over the wolds to w*** today. Then it's haircuts after school.

Not much else going on in Penguin Towers today, but I'll keep up with all your doings.
    Happy Birthday to Kiwichick!!

    23_34_1.gifHAPPY BIRTHDAY KIWICHICK

    Goodmorning everyone,

Well, will be a bit busier today, little one who was here yesterday went at 9.30, for an appointment and didnt come back again!!! I had to wait in because i was taking delivery of a friends fridge, and i also had some things listed on ebay finishing (i made £30!!!) so wasnt able to go and do anything, but did manage to get lots of little things done that i dont normally do when the little ones are here!!!
Today, i need to get the BM on and do the normal leaning, but thats it, and as i only have one little one here, will be able to consentrate on her. Im also going to be going to the big Sainsburys at some point, its closing for a week, at 6pm today, so they will be reducing all their fresh produce, its just deciding on the best time to go - what do you all think, should i go just after lunch (12pm) or just after school (3.30pm) i dont want to get there too early, but dont want to miss out either!!! Decisions decisions!!!!
Right, better get moving, feel really sluggish today, lucky i dont have much to do!!!!
    Have a lovely day everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Kiwichik :bdaycake: I really hope you enjoy your day.

I haven't been around much but have read some of your posts Amie, I am really sorry to hear about your father in law.

    Churchmouse - a granny, yay!

My anti d's have kicked in and I have been feeling much better over the last couple of days.

Oh is off to another interview today looking very despondent as the last 2 were no's. Got a day of baking ahead as we have a class cake stall on friday. As I am at home with dd it is always difficult to offer help on school trips etc but cake making we can definitely do so we tend to make quite a lot! Need to pop to the shops to buy some stork marg and then it will be full steam ahead!

Have a really good day everyone and hugs to those that need them.

 Have a great Birthday Kiwichick!

Gingin - wishing your OH all the best. Hope this is The One.

Sorry have not been on for some time and I have not been able to read every day, so way behind with what is happening (but why change the habits of a lifetime??? ) Hope everyone is on the mend/sleeping OK, but as always, thoughts and hugs to those that need/want them.

Bought a small chest freezer last week, so it is now up and running and ready to receive! Not had a chest type before so will have to be very good about what is where - any tips?? Will aim to be like Cheerfulness and bake until it is full!!

At w*r* at the moment, but will be going to gym/swim afterwards as I really need to shift some weight. All this OS baking and cooking and no exercise not a very good combination!!

Have cooked a ham knuckle so will be making broth with the stock and some of the meat. OH away for rest of week, so will be cooking for one - I find this difficult to get motivated about and end up eating sandwiches and other 'easy' stuff.

Have a good OS day everyone,

    Jan x
