Morning all - Happy Birthday Kiwichick, and hope all of you under the weather recover soon - (just think of the immunity your building up before Christmas and the winter really kicks in!)
My stars say that exciting things are on the horizon (funny how you only take notice when there is something you want to hear) So I'm hopeful for all the good things that are about to fall into my lap:rotfl: (Somehow I think that all the hard work I do might have something to do with it!)
Taking some time today to visit a friend, and maybe go to the movies to see the new Bond - will load the SC with some chicken thighs and a mushroom sauce - and the BM needs to be tried with another seeded loaf after the last semi disaster

And well done to Cat! I lost patience with Pigsback, so it shows what can happen if you persevere!

Happy birthday Kiwichick and a belated congratulations to Churchmouse on your new grandson.
Missed the delivery yesterday so will have to try and organise it for another day. Won't be easy as I have so much to do in the next week.
Catowen can you throw some of your luck this way pleeeease? I try the pigsback comps every day and have won nothing so far.
As far as OS goes, I have been batch cooking and last night made a lovely apple and summer fruits crumble for dessert tonight. DD seems to have gone off all her old favourites so I am trying to think of new things that I can cook. She is quite a fussy eater and I'm trying to break that.
Did 5 1/2 hours of overtime yesterday. It will be useful to buy the last of the Christmas pressies for DS and DD.
Hope everyone has a good Wednesday."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Good morning everyone:hello:
Happy birthday Kiwichick:beer:
Nothing much planned on the kitchen front today - shopping instead;) I want to finish Christmas shopping for the kids today. We seem to spend more and more on them each year:o Still, they don't get presents except at Christmas and birthdays.
Have a good OS day everyone:)0 -
Good morning everyone! :hello:
It was not a good morning here……we all slept in!
Ds catches the bus to school in the town centre at 7.20am and we only woke at 7.00am. It was dreadful! We were all still half asleep, charging around and bumping into each other….. but we managed to get him out of the door, clean, dressed and presentable, complete with packed lunch and rugby kit, and without any major arguments in time to catch the bus. I think I need a lie down now!
I have my monthly team meeting this morning, so apart from putting the breadmaker on for lunch time and a quick tidy up before I go out so that I don’t dread coming home to the mess, nothing much Old Style happening here this morning.
gingin, fingers crossed for your OH
Catowen, Congrats on winning the pigsback competition.
Happy Birthday Kiwichick! :bdaycake:
Have a good Wednesday everybody!
