Parking - The great debate

Well as i have already said i do offer car park management. I go to sites and fill pot holes. I got an collect litter. I clear snow and ice. I paint white lines (well contract people).
I also operate some P+D machines. I would rather do this than do any enforcement at all because as i have said enforcement is hassle. That also said there does need to be something people can do about the drivers who blatantly pay no respect to the land owner and park without consent.
The majority (i assume) on here are haivn ghtier views for either getting a ticket or getting on the band wagon) Don't understand that bit But do any of you stop to think of the other side? the landowner has paid for that land and he can do anything he wants within the law. If he wants nobody to park there then who are people to choose otherwise?
Many people do think of the landowner which is why no-one advocates parking illegally or irresponsibly.
If the landowner wishes no one on their land then so be it but I don't think retail parks and supermarkets fall into this category.
What people do object to is PPC scum who try to extort money from individuals by means of lies and coercion.0 -
Agreed, no one supports irresponsible or anti-social parking. But decent people abhor the bunch of scumbag bottom feeders that routinely deceive and dissemble to make a quick buck and call themselves PPCs. The industry is full of rotten apples who don't give a hoot about parking management but are only interested in the next £50 they will scam out of some granny. It is public aewareness that will put paid to these parasites on society.0

Its scouse :rotfl:
Tis Lar!;) Its funny us scouses being known to be mild mannered and non aggressive:D I have only found 3 retail sites in the whole of Liverpool controlled by PPC's 2 are retail parks UKCPS and one a Lidl which did need it as it was in the city centre and was being abused. Although the one hour is restrictive.
We have two NHS trusts both have two sites first trust run by themselves! One is manned pay as you enter no limits so no problems,
However this is used more by commuters then Hospital workers and visitors, second site barrier controlled so no problems. Never seen any problems in local news, except for people who complain about having to pay.
Second trust Aintree has two sites first a barrier system £2 a visit loads of problems reported for incorrect parking. Second site P&D loads of problems incorrect parking displaying tickets. Who is it run by CPplus, this is the trust who are taking action reported on here.
So trust one proves it can be done in house and except for the question if we should pay at all at NHS hospitals it does not generate problems!
Trust two using CPplus who need to generate revenue are the trust that have the problems.0
