Good for you neoshoegal-what frames did you go for? Are they 'thin lenses'?
I just checked the status of my order I placed on 19/9 and it says they were shipped on 21/90 -
Received my two pairs from googles4u yesterday (Wednesday) after ordering them last Thursday.
Look good and lens prescription equal to the ones I had made up at Specsavers.
Great value well worth using.0 -
I've just ordered a pair from Googles4u - almost anything will be better than the old pair I have.

very chuffed with mine for less than 15. actually i'd be very chuffed if they cost more. very stylish and quick delivery. It thought they might end up being very 50 ish, but look similar to my 100 quid spec savers ones, plus these have the coatings etc... yeay
Thanks to OP0 -
Mine are awaiting dispatch. By the way, if they come from the US , do they arrive via normal Royal mail post or do you have to sign for them from a special courier?0

Mine arrived via normal RM - they come from Pakistan. It's a bit like pass the parcel when you get them - you'll see what I mean!!!0

Ordered Friday night, delivered Thursday morning via RM postman stuffed through my letterbox. First time I have had to unpick some sewing to open something up. My hard case suffered in delivery but glasses are great, rimless for £14.51.
Next order I think I will use my Nationwide card and change currency to $ for payment and get the benefit of exchange rate given using it which is better than the site conversion rate.0 -
Pleased to report after the initial confusion, mine are now on the way. Repeat custom a distinct possibility if this first pair of bins turn out okay0

Mine arrived yesterday and I have mixed feelings:
The prescription and 'frames' are fine-I went for frameless BUT the lenses are thicker than my current framed pair-goggles4u states they use high index lenses so I was hoping they would be as thin as my current pair-is this an unreasonable assumption?
For £14 I am happy for them to be my emergency pair in the car but would not want them to replace my current pair. They also need the nose 'legs' adjusting so I am hoping Boots might be friendly!
Overall though I AM going to order some more online but will check the thickness first-might try companies other than goggles4u.0 -
Still awaiting mine- ordered 11 Sept (goggles4u )
Nothing taken out of cc.
e mailed them and they rplied very quickly -almost threatened to shoot those responsible for the delay !
