NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had an update from Zu it's quite a long mail so i'll not paste it all on here but here's the start.

" After lengthy negotiations with customs and excise, and several days of us banging our heads off the wall, customs have informed us that our batch of psps could be held for another 7 days, therefore delaying the delivery of your order by about 10 days or so. This means we cannot guarantee a pre Christmas delivery".

To say i'm totaly pis%ed off is a understatement.

glad i got a refund when i did. how long do your CC have to claim the money back?

Keeping positive, our company imports items from overseas and we pay the import duty before the goods land; they are not held by customs at all as a result.

Hi mike,
not to botherd about the money at this moment in time. I may just let the order run and sell it on when it arrives. But if i want a refund,after reading the full mail i don't think there will be any problems or delays.
My main job now is to get another psp that can play homebrew games in time for xmas.

Forgot to say in my other post that some body on the matrix watch forum said they got there psp this morning so the latest bad news may not apply to everyone.
Also the mail was from Clive Martin (Operations Manager) not alex.

Thanks for that grayme-m but that does'nt make me feel positive!

I'm with purpleronnie on feelings to ZuDirect.

I haven't had that email yet though I conatcted them this morning for an update (before I saw the latest on here)so I shall wait & see.

Geez, guys, i'm glad i swung this thread onto the zudirect subject.
i'm also glad i got out early on (though it wasnt through choice)
i'd be seriously upset if i was still waiting, but to be fair if you've waited this long, you might as well a bit longer.
I've had my refurch from game for about a month now, and i'd have to say that tit's so great, i'm almost happy to have paid the extra, cause they're worth it.

sorry, not trying to rub your nose in it if yours hasnt arived, but i just cant believe its still not fully resolved.

hmmm, since I posted here a few weeks ago, 3 work collegues have got their order from Zudirect and one cancelled. The one that cancelled got a full refund without problem.

I have to say I cant see any real problems with Zudirect, personally we have found them to be rather good, however I do realise that this latest 'customs hold up' is affecting things.

To all of those waiting, dont worry Zudirect is a legit company, they either deliver or refund in my experience, so hang in there!

Thanks Andycarts, that gives a little light at the end of the tunnel, there is a
thread on this running on the Matrix website though getting a little heated.

I think my main gripe with them now is the complete lack of communication I am getting.

Will advise if do get any further info.

Thought i should post this, we received our console from Zu this week.( ordered two but because of supply problems received one) The console is in mint condition in fact looks like new,i know this is of little consolation to those waiting for pre christmas delivery but anyone who can wait till after chrimbo they are well worth waiting for.Alex Cohen has told us the refund has been paid back to our bank account and we should receive it by Monday on the console we did not receive. Some people have made posts on here questioning this companies existence which is total rubbish, the facts are they are genuine!! and this whole episode has been most unfortunate. One thing which i can't understand is all these people who have got involved in this thread and have no real interest and just like to crap stir for the hell of it. For the people waiting for consoles for chrimbo i know how frustrating this has been, but if you can hang on this offer is a genuine bargain. Hope this helps to clarify things and to those who have no interest in this thread GET A LIFE.

Thanks for that (seeing as how the comment was made at the likes of me).

May I just remind you that this thread is entitled 'Sony PSP 1.5 Firmware Value Packs on Amazon' (not ZUdirect) which was why I came to it (hence my interest) and I have offered my advice to those that have asked for it.

Remember some people have ordered months ago for Xmas presents that still haven't arrived; these are the people that are asking about refunds, etc. 'Here little Jonny, have an IOU you can exchange for a PSP when it comes in January is not going to go down well'; I hope that Zu is able to fulfill their orders too (I sincerely do).
