    Thanks SMSmasters...

it does look like a site selling stuff and I'm sure it does if you live in SA, but...

If you wish to link straight to the actual forum (rather than seeing the adverts) here is the link, I found the Hacks and how to's the best, part of the forum, they really seem to know ehat they are talking about, they show pictures and complete walk throughs - which I've found when you not a techie very useful

and they dont mind if you ask stupid questions, which I do frequenty! because its not always clear on what you can do and what you cant do on other sites

I've found it to be useful for all Gamers, PSP, Xbox360 etc etc -

Sorry, but on first look, it did look like spam ...

And because there were loads of selling adverts, it seemed like you were probably the owner or something, and were trying to big up the site!

    So I apologise once again...

Another good site to look at is:

    forums.maxconsole.net

Lots of good useful advice for when you're a bit more advanced (but be warned, newbie questions that have already been answered before at that site will probably get flamed ... even if it was answered like 3million years ago!!!)

Thats Okay, just trying to help out. I found the Uk sites a little intemidating, if you asked stupid questions, or deemed a DOH question you got slated - this site, seemt o go out of their way to help.

Only downside is that mines at TA-082 which is alittle scary as it can brick if you dont follow instructions to the tee! But these guys have found a way round it!

Do you mean that you managed to downgrade a ta-082, or that you can play games on the ta-082 using devhook and henc?

I havent, i'm too chicken!! but I read the instructions on the site and also on another site (will have to search the link out for it)

Check out the following thread, under hacks/how to's

    TA-081 vs TA-082 2.6 Before You Buy

Apparently it can be done now, but I suppose its "own risk" although from memory it did say it wouldnt brick your psp!!

Playing games can easily be done on the ta-082 by using hen-d.

Didn't see anything on there about downgrading the ta-082 to less than 2.5 though ... so guess that's still not able to be done!

Does Hen-d alter the firmware then? or void the warranty?
