  • Hi
I have ordered a White PSP and have the same email message ref customs,I was told that they should clear customs by ceasework today and be despatched the following day, I have been watching this site with worry after I ordered over 2 weeks ago, I have not had as long to wait as some of you, but a few of the posts here had me worried sick.
So far my dealings with Zudirect have been fine with an email reply whenever I asked a question. I am confident they are doing all they can. shan't be long now!
  • Hi all,

Just read this entire thread and struggle to understand why people put up with this nonsense from zudirect. A quick google search of this company doesn't pull anything useful up other than links to the threads within this forum (i.e it didn't even pull up their homepage never mind any good reviews of the company).

I bough a PSP from ebay about two weeks ago. It had the 2.71 SEB firmware on it, came with a 1GB memory stick and a barrel load of games were thrown in on 5 DVDs (the games were all in ISO format). For those that have bought this 'rare' 1.5 at a reduced price must also consider that you also need to buy yourself a memory stick if you are planning on running homebrew/iso files on your PSP.

For the sake of an extra £10 - £20 why don't you cancel your order and buy a refurbished one from GAME (see previous posts) or get one off e-bay. My PSP arrived within 48 hours. A 5-6 week delay is simply unexceptable and the reason why these types of companies are still in business is because they are allowed to hold on to YOUR cash so the THEY can use YOUR money to start their business. It's not hard to see that this company obviously never had the cash to buy these PSPs until people actually made the orders. Once they've got sufficient orders to order in bulk they then place the order.

My heart goes out to those waiting on them, particularly to those that have ordered them as Christamas presents for their children. I do hope that they arrive in time.

    Regards

Julian, I can't understand the negative comments from you who has no interest in this matter and who has not purchased from zu. ;):)

  • I agree, Julian why post here if you havent even purchased from zudirect?

Most of your post is pure rubbish anyway.

Zu have always offered me a refund, I decided to wait. Also they sell loads of otherstuff, friends of mine have purchased varoius items from them with no problems so it seems the psps are an one off problem.

I dont think you know what you are talking about, so if you havent purchased form them, leave well alone.

I think those of us who are waiting are, believe it or not, intelligent people who can make their own minds up.

By the way EVERYONE ELSE, I got my tracking information today from Zu and my order should be with me in the morning, i will update you again tommorrow.

  • Good news that tracking numbers are being given out it looks like Zu are coming good after all, and from what the earlier recipients are saying the wait has been well worth it.Went into Game today with a friend if anyone is considering going there be very careful and ask to see the console switched on as all four we looked at had dead pixels.
  • Nobody got any news, seems to have gone really quiet from hysteria to total silence STRANGE!!!!!
  • Hi Frazer,
Got this mail from zu on the 6th.

"Good news, your psp has arrived in the UK, however this batch has been delayed by a few days, due to the high level of goods entering the UK at this time of year, they still have to clear at customs & excise.
We expect them to clear by the close of business tomorrow and we shall keep you updated. Once cleared, your order should arrive with you within 24hrs".

Not had a tracking number or any other mails though. It's starting to get abit close to xmas now. Imagine if there's a fault with the psp, there's no chance of getting a replacment from zu in time for xmas.
If mines not here by next week i'll have to think about buying from elseware and get my money back. Can't have a unhappy kid at xmas.

But if what zu says is correct i should have my psp next week anyway.

I found this website and the guys here are so friedly and will even talk you through the upgrade/downgrade, bear in mind though if you have aTA motherboard even though its less than 2.71 you may not be able to downgrade - so worth checking this site out before making any changes
