couldnt agree more if there is a ceiling limit on returns for during the sale. I have ordered bits for my son over the past few months and to be honest i got fed up in the end. He's 4 so would assume a 4-5 years old stuff would be bigger than the 3-4 years stuff he had for last year, nope. I ordered him about 3 new coats of differing styles measured them up width ways and length ways to his 3-4 years one, no difference. Jeans in 4-5 years this year are the same length and width as his 3-4 years ones from last year. Coat i even ordered a 5-6 years one and again measured up and exactly the same as his 3-4 years one from Next last year. I made these comments every time i had to return the goods and obviously fallen on deaf ears. Why would i pay £25-£30 for a coat that is the same fit as the one he had last year, likewise with jeans ? Its not that i buy loads and loads and return it, its that what i do buy is incorrectly sized. At a complete loss as to what to do when his 3-4 years stuff does get much too small for him. The older children stuff isnt much better an age 6 top is the same size as a 4-5 year old one. If the sizing was consistent each year then i wouldnt have had this problem. Ive never had this with Next stuff before this season, normally love their clothes, they wear and wash well, but have given up bothering trying to buy the next size up at the moment0

Well I phoned them to ask why I have not been offered a VIP slot.
Apparently I have, but not all the emails have been sent out. They send them out in batches.. hmmm I don't know if this is them fobbing me off as the pre-sale is currently in action and I would have thought that it is a bit late to still be sending out emails.0 -
it may be true as i recall for 1 vip we got offered a second bite of the cherry and were able to book a second slot if we liked so may well be in batches
i didnt get my invite until yesterday so havent got a slot until tomorrow afternoon so they are definitly being sent in batches so far:j MFi3 wannabee :j

My slot was for 9pm and I expected half my list to be out of stock but was pleasantly surprised
Ordered just over £300 of stuff. Particularly chuffed with the ben 10 ultimate car for £15, the toy story 3 scaletrix for £25 and the crayola glow station for £10. My sons birthday is in February so it will all defo come in handy!

i manged to get quite alot of the stuff i wanted, but they do update it every 20 mins so sometimes its gone then the next its there. i went back on 3 times i wish it could be deliverd to store though instead of being charged 3.95 3 times!!!...i agree on sizes though i brought a coat size 3-4 and it wouldnt fit and shes 2?/ yet thee next coat she is wearing at mo is 2-3 and could fit her till she about 4???mum to two beautiful children:T0

What do you mean about the returns? You mean your not allowed to return alot of your order if so:eek:.....as i did order 2 in sizes as i am either a 10 or 12 it varies. Ive spent about £500, which was way too much but that includes some orders for 2 of my friends as they never got a slot. I wonder what is the most someone spends as it it very addictive adding to your basket.0

I made two orders and managed to get 45 items out of the 52 on my list (v Chuffed!!) albeit 11 of those are on hold for 2-4 weeks - hopefully we will get the. Anyway, emailed Next told them the site went slow so quickly put first order in and to complete my list had to order again which meant another delivery charge, they emailed back within 10 mins and have credited my account with the second delivery charge. Well done Next - Top Marks!!!!:j:j:j0 -

They have completely baffled me. I don't know how to multi quote but others have mentioned about returns and sizing. I have made returns but only because their sizing just isn't right. My daughter is slim, aged 12 (just) and she couldn't get into the size 13 or 14 joggers because the waist was tiny on both and I have also told Next that.
I have just realised that I have spent just under 1K since Jan & I didn't get a VIP slot last Christmas either so it wasn't due to that. Oh well, started to love TK Maxx online lately so not feeling too unhappy.

This is the 1st time i've not got a slot at the beginning and there was hardly any baby boy things that i wanted left but still managed to get a few things for my 4yr old boy. Site was good, no crashes this year! Checked out 5 times, kept seeing things after i'd ordered! Will ring tomoz for refund on postage costs!!0
