I just find it astonishing that the OP found -
a friend who inspected the car pre MOT; and
an MOT station; and
a tyre depot who sold the OP 3 tyres,

none of whom who even mentioned to the OP that the 4th tyre was near the limit.

Pubs generally exist to serve the buildings that surround them. A pub in the middle of nowhere on its own would quickly go out of business.

No repeaters generally means 30.

Then says there were no speed limit signs.
