had not disposed of evidence maybe you could have fought it.

And win a case with a tyre with 1mm of tread?

I just find it astonishing that the OP found -
a friend who inspected the car pre MOT; and
    an MOT station; and
a tyre depot who sold the OP 3 tyres,

none of whom who even mentioned to the OP that the 4th tyre was near the limit.

Ah a pub as in made of bricks and built up.

If it's got a bus stop outside you can go back when your banned.

The presence of one building doesn't make it a 30mph limit area.

I know. But that is the pickle I find myself in unfortunately.

Pubs generally exist to serve the buildings that surround them. A pub in the middle of nowhere on its own would quickly go out of business.

Which might make you wonder how accurately it was measured.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Never been to a country pub with no other buildings close to it?

There were no repeaters. There was no street lighting. It was a country road. When the officer said "It's a built up area" i nearly laughed as there were fields all around us. The only building was the pub.

This is the clue - there are only repeaters in 40, 50 and some NSL zones.

    No repeaters generally means 30.

No, they generally have a few other buildings within walking distance.

He didn't see any other buildings.

Then says there were no speed limit signs.

But the best of it is he thought his tyres weren't that bad only 0.6mm in it.

Where does he live in a model village.:rotfl:
