I'm in Glasgow and ordered an item from ASOS on 1 December. It was scheduled to be delivered by Friday 10th. It hasn't appeared yet. My understanding was that it was being sent via Royal Mail, and it was dispatched on 3 December. Hopefully it will show up in the next day or two, I'll wait a bit longer before I contact them.
Conversely, I also placed an order from French Connection on Thursday 9th, and it arrived today - again via Royal Mail. I didn't expect to receive that item till next week at the earliest. :rotfl:0 -
I work in Aberdeen and every single day I order goods from Preston, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol among other English cities and get these into Aberdeen by 11.00 the next day - ok some have been delayed until 2 - 3pm and 1 delayed for a day or 2 but overall I haven't had any serious problems
In saying that I refuse to use any of the crap couriers like Home Delivery network, DHL etc., who actually told me that they couldn't make a delivery as there was too much ice on the road at work, now I knew this was a lie and that there vans were leaving there depot as I could see them from window as there depot was on the same road as mine, when I told them this was a lie, they then said they had a large backlog and couldn't make the delivery:mad:
I only use TNT, ANC/Fedex, Tuffnells or at a push Night freight.
Everyday I am into ANC/Fedex to collect at least 10 packages for work without any probs, very helpful staff and reliable service.
The snow/Ice/backlog excuses is being way overused by loads of the smaller/amateur couriers imo.:mad:0 -
Ha!! I knew it. I predicted this in a thread a few weeks ago! :P0

Good luck trying to contact ASOS their "live person contact" has now resorted to bland automated blah blah blah snow email replies, no answers coming out from them at all-and Im way down in the South with no snow at all just a freshly biting sandpaper ,whipping sea breeze that has shaved layers of skin off my face hence delaying the need for plastic surgery for a while longer-there has to be an upside to all this after all!!!!:A:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -
