I'm in Glasgow and ordered an item from ASOS on 1 December. It was scheduled to be delivered by Friday 10th. It hasn't appeared yet. My understanding was that it was being sent via Royal Mail, and it was dispatched on 3 December. Hopefully it will show up in the next day or two, I'll wait a bit longer before I contact them.

Conversely, I also placed an order from French Connection on Thursday 9th, and it arrived today - again via Royal Mail. I didn't expect to receive that item till next week at the earliest. :rotfl:

I work in Aberdeen and every single day I order goods from Preston, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol among other English cities and get these into Aberdeen by 11.00 the next day - ok some have been delayed until 2 - 3pm and 1 delayed for a day or 2 but overall I haven't had any serious problems

In saying that I refuse to use any of the crap couriers like Home Delivery network, DHL etc., who actually told me that they couldn't make a delivery as there was too much ice on the road at work, now I knew this was a lie and that there vans were leaving there depot as I could see them from window as there depot was on the same road as mine, when I told them this was a lie, they then said they had a large backlog and couldn't make the delivery:mad:

I only use TNT, ANC/Fedex, Tuffnells or at a push Night freight.

Everyday I am into ANC/Fedex to collect at least 10 packages for work without any probs, very helpful staff and reliable service.

The snow/Ice/backlog excuses is being way overused by loads of the smaller/amateur couriers imo.

Good luck trying to contact ASOS their "live person contact" has now resorted to bland automated blah blah blah snow email replies, no answers coming out from them at all-and Im way down in the South with no snow at all just a freshly biting sandpaper ,whipping sea breeze that has shaved layers of skin off my face hence delaying the need for plastic surgery for a while longer-there has to be an upside to all this after all!!!!:A

Guy at work in Glasgow had an item delivered today by Royal Mail from ASOS so they are at least getting through.
