  • Its unbelievable the amount of stuff that goes missing -a lot of tea leaves in these parcel depots and royal mail i think .
there probablyt sitting in their nice cosy tea room drinking coffee and eating my chocolates, watching my dvds and reading my books and everyone elses missing stuff !

They should do what they used to do at Argos (maybe still do ) a body search before they go home !

ORDER BY 19TH AND GET IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!.....

Ho Ho Ho...Who they trying to kid?!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

    I've waited 2 weeks!

Anyway folks don't let the snow "crisis" put a downer on your christmas spirit. Get them tunes on and act like a bairn for a bit!

If your scared little ones wont get what you've ordered in time i can only suggest if your able to go to argos or that and buy it and keep your receipt to return if your items do come before crimbo.

  • so we'r all thiefs and shirkers in royal mail ! dont think so my oh was sent home at 2 am this morning because he fell on ice loading bloody parcels into a van badly injuring his leg we work hard all year and especially at xmass and we are not thiefs . you think this is the posties fault because you cant get your orders try the weather and we'r trying to clear the backlog. i remember when london had just a small amount of snow and it ground to a halt ! nothing like up here . so when your all reading your books and eating your chocolates [when they arrive] enjoy and think o the bloody posties who have went out at all hours and condititions to get them to you . merry xmass

I hope they get moving soon , I sent my Grand-sons parcels to Scotland from here in sunny Wales a week ago and they're still stuck somewhere! Please, Please Get there for them, can't get to see them until after Christmas would hate for them not to have at least their presents from their Grand-parents. Was waiting on live chat for 3 hours yesterday, had my dinner and several cups of teas while waiting for rep. (Could have knitted a jumper too, if I could knit!)

MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone in waiting.lol

I'm hoping that with some companys stopping taking orders from Scotland for a period might mean that things posted already will have a chance of comming for Christmas. I have done so much internet shopping the last couple of weeks and nothing has come.
For me the worst offender is M&S who have blamed the weather when they have blatently taken orders for half price toys and home scents that they can't honour.

Whilst i appreciate that some posties are having accidents i do have to agree with people saying that SOME are taking the mick a bit....

My mum didn't have post for a week and yet people were moving about the streets and getting to work so why couldn't the posties? Is it just the heatlh and safety culture gone mad...

I remember a teacher refusing on some forum a year ago to go to work as she might fall over in the snow and ice in the few yards walk to the school. A lot of us explained to her that every day we walk out of our houses we risk injury or death it's one of those things....We could get run over by a bus, fall on the oil patch on the road, some nutter could swipe us off the road. As my mum says when you get into a car you're driving a lethal weapon...

I've got family members travelling many miles in arctic conditions and they've managed....

Maybe posties would be better investing in appropriate clothing and just getting on with it like the rest of us...

There are some good ones but for every good one i think are some ones that take the mick...
  • OMG...I cannot believe people are personaly attacking posties and calling them thieves ..its amazing how the badness comes out in some people when they dont get what they want. :(
