  • I cant work out if it's the companies themselves being slow OR the delivery people.

One example,i ordered one thing from New Look,my friend ordered the same thing about two hours later, she received hers last WEdnesday from HDNL and i received mine today!

We live near each other in the North West of England,i can't work out why some items are getting delivered quickly and others aren't.

I had a parcel dispatched from New Look on 7th Dec. Yesterday it was tracked as having been put in the van at the Carlisle Depot. Today it is tracking as being in the depot! Do you think they have taken it back out of the van? Why? I was getting excited!

I had a delivery today from Hermes. The delivery guy was saying that he thinks that the newer orders are getting through first and the delayed ones are just kind of stuck in the back of warehouses.

Thumbs up for my postie as well, he knows where to leave parcels for me if I'm not in, saves an embarrassing trip to the sorting office where they know me all too well thanks to this board! "Ah, been buying more stuff have we?" :o

And the past 2 weeks in a row we've had posties out in force on a Sunday, which I appreciate! Maybe not when they're knocking on my door at 8:35am but oh well! :D

okies guys not fair that folk are insulting the posties they work really hard at this time of the year and up here in sunny scotland aint so sunny all i can say is atleast the items are being sorted and sent as and when they can unlike all the other companies who have just stopped all together gonna praise the posties and the hermes drivers at least they doin something, just so everyone knows there may not be any snow here on the roads but pavements are sheets of ice, i fell the other day goin to the shop and back and the shop is right nxt door,
my problem is with the drivers who dont need to walk the streets/pavements but have to drive vans on the roads where there is no snow/ice most ppl have cleared there paths so wat problem do they have delivering.

    give the posties a break

Ooh yes I've gotta mention Hermes as well, between them and RM they're the only companies that have really impressed me with their efforts over past couple of weeks!
  • I've just got a lovely email from ASOS, apologising for the delay with my parcels - I hadn't even contacted them about it! They've refunded my delivery automatically and given me a 10% discount code to use (locked to my account so sadly I cant share with you guys!)

Some companies are really impressing me with their updates and general service... as for others... let's not go there!
