so no items are ever sent out with the wrong address from any company?
you are making a fool of yourself with that statement.

now i refer you back to your first post.
    I answered your question.
BTW adding "fact!" does not make something a fact.

Well mine haven;t been sent to the wrong address if they read my address back to me that they wrote on the parcel -not saying thats the case for everyone else.
No fool -just bloody sick of buying stuff and it goes "missing " .
Someone It doesn''t even seem to go back to the original company if they can't read the address (if they have put a returns address on it )
It seems couriers can''t even read either -big sign asking to PLEASE CLOSE GATES -no ,always left wide open for someones dog to crap in my garden if they want to !
Thats why i am sick of incompetent people !
Also no snow here at the moment, so thats not an excuse .
When it was a foot deep ,some of us still had to go out - is it one rule for one worker and one for another !

It's an acceptable loss, especially when a good proportion of those are through the stupidity of the customer, or false claims by people just trying to screw some money from RM.

my ,you sound like a right moaner

now let me lay this out for you
many companies misaddress items every single day
    misprinting,crossover of addresses etc
as someone who has bought many items online and eBayed full time.i have had 1 item go missing. which eventually (months later ) came back to me

close the gates? well its optional.perhaps your issues come accross in the way you interact.
    no snow? and?
you another one that thinks fairies plop the items at the end of your road?
when it was over a foot deep i was at work.as were all the RM guys i know
is there a point or are you going for forum martyr of the year?
  • And there's always the people who receive parcels intended for someone else and other folk encourage them with the 'finders keepers' routine...

So if parcels go missing, they may well have found their way somewhere, but the assumption of 'they'll claim it on insurance, so it's ok to keep it' does go on.

Wouldn''t you moan if you spent over £100 and received nothing -looks like you are trying to be the martyr.
I accept their are thieves somewhere !
The sign does say -PLEASE CLOSE THE GATE -Thats PLEASE -Is it really so hard to close a gate behind you ?????? !
I moan do i ? -well its probably due to the couldn''t care less , its not our fault attitude !
You might have been at work - i thought that was what people who had a job did -go to work -like a lot of us did .
No mail was delivered on here for over a week to anyone and the snow was a very soft light covering at first and they still couldn;'t be arsed !

Although I commended the service from RM in an earlier post I can categorically state that someone within RM was indeed stealing mail intended for my household.

This was a number of years ago and no longer happens I am pleased to say.

I would always rather use RM that CityLink - now they are a shower of useless b/tards.

I am beginning to panic now, nothing I have ordered on-line has been delivered.
Amazon, Lloyds pharmacy, Play, Zavvi and Boots all say they were dispatched at the start of December and still nothing.
Can't do anything but wait and hope.
Where I stay in Scotland the roads and pavements have been clear for over a week and the weather has been good but weather forecast says more snow on the way now.

Was that the official Royal Mail response when you queried with them why you had had no deliveries?
