From Tesco.com
"Adverse weather conditions in Scotland
We apologise for any inconvenience, but unfortunately we are currently unable to take any new orders in Scotland & the Scottish Isles. This is due to the adverse weather conditions causing a build up of orders. However, if you have already placed an order we will do our very best to deliver your items as soon as possible."

As do M&S
Placing an order? Important delivery information during adverse weather conditions
Updated 12.30pm 13th December
Due to adverse weather conditions we are no longer offering nominated day delivery. You can continue to use the FREENDAY code for free delivery on standard orders over £150.
WEATHER IMPACT ON DELIVERIES TO SCOTLAND
At present we cannot accept any orders for home delivery to Scottish postcodes as we can’t guarantee a definite delivery date.
Our delivery teams in Scotland have up to 7 days of parcels in their network due to the recent bad weather. Their warehouses are full and cannot take any more parcels until the backlog is cleared.
We are, however, still delivering Clothing and Home orders to all stores in Scotland, which is free of delivery charge.
At this time we are confident that all previously placed Clothing and Home orders, whilst delayed, will be delivered pre-Christmas. If this changes we will contact you to let you know.
Our website will be updated regularly. Please keep checking back for further information.
Until further notice, we are also no longer delivering to addresses in the following post codes in Scotland. You can still place orders and collect in store. Delivery is free to stores - find out more about our Shop Your Way service.

I live in the Glasgow area and I am waiting on several parcels. It would be nice if the companies would contact people and let them know.0

I don't get why, yes it was really bad last week but the snow's all gone now, in Glasgow and the south anyway, so why is it any harder to deliver here than it is in England?Addicted to moneysaving! :rotfl:0

We are in south Fife and the pavements are still terrible - 20cm of hard packed ice. I guess because we have more snow forecast they don't want to risk it. Better than taking orders and not being able to deliver them I feel.0

we have been cut off for 11 days
i got my order this morning from tesco, in the correct time slot
and only 2 subs, in my favour0 -
Has Scotland moved to the Arctic Circle or something?travelover0

Well it's not like they're really saying no, is it? Just that they're not taking any more bookings because they have a build up. I would imagine they're not taking more bookings so they can keep the slots free to try and re-deliver to those they couldn't reach in the last couple of weeks. Which is only fair and reasonable.0

Apparently HDNL can't rearrange my parcels to be delivered (I missed them) - because of the "Severe weather conditions"
I live near Carlisle - snow is all gone.0
