Don't worry, Santa has a sleigh which is designed for use in snow, and mostly it goes through the sky anyway! :j0

I've ordered stuff from Amazom, the courier has had it since 1st Dec. The HDNL tracking number doesn't work and I'm slightly worried as it's for my sons birthday on Friday. Trying to get through to amazon now : fingers crossed. (Update Amazon say it'll be here tomorrow, I hope so, it's the fact that the tracking isn't working that's the most annoying as it means I have to stay in or risk missing it).
I'm also waiting for a few other bits for Christmas but at least they have longer to get here : debenhams, IWOOT M&S.
I've been waiting on an amazon delivery for over two weeks, according to when they say it was dispatched, is there an email or phone number to contact?0 -

What happens if he can't see Scotland through the snow. Do u think we could email Tesco and rest of the companies and point out they normally deliver everyday to Scotland , while Santa only does one and he can make it !0 -

so i would say it affected all tesco .com orders0 -
I'm still waiting for a few things in Aberdeen one being a new telly, not really that bothered, would be nice if they were here for Christmas but there's nothing worth someone hurting themselves over.
Certainly be one to remember if we're all gathered around a portable telly on Christmas Day :rotfl::rotfl:Quid quid latine dictum sit, altum videtur0 -

I am waiting on M&S Hampers and another order all due from DHL. I haven't seen a dhl van on the road despite the clear roads. all other couriers are running fine, the only other slow coach seems to be parcelforce.
So glad to have most of my shopping done, won't be doing any more orders online for time being.
I haven't seen snow like it since the 70's, but it is a disgrace the way the country grinds to an absolute halt the way it does!Owned by a Great Dane :heartsmil

fed up with it now we are in west lothian yes we still have some snow on the pavements but the roads are fine my husband drives a bus and am pretty sure if he can drive a great big double decker bus round all the streets then so could these drivers i am really worried as above i have done most of my shopping online and i am still waiting on around 600 quids worth of stuff which included my sons main present from comet a laptop not a happy bunny right now am gonna kick up a right fuss if my sons laptop doesnt show up in time
you should be fine im in west lothian and got the last of my deliverys on sat/sunday so they are delivering fine in the area but will have a backlog. If you dont like me remember its mind over matter, I dont mind and you dont matter0 -
I had a delivery delayed last week, I had asked for it to get delivered to my work in Glasgow, I live in North Ayrshire, when I checked the item was in a warehouse less than 10 miles from my home and I couldn't get it, not because of the weather but because I had opted to have it delivered to my work in Glasgow which was quite bad, where as here in NA it was fine. Still fine today but it seems the north of Scotland and West of Scotland are to bear the brunt of the snow this week(if the forecastors are right).
Saying all of that, remember at this time of the year all the couriers - royal mail or private companies are up to their eyeballs in it at this time of the year so with having a backlog of 7 days worth of parcels or even more at least if people know they can't order more then they'll just get up off their rear ends and go and get it in a shop.(Although for those in more remote area's I do feel for you as there sometimes isn't that option)
I hope all those waiting on orders get them soon and you all have a very Happy Christmas. Thanks to all the competition posters.0
