  • Its absolutely fine round here LN6 -BUT not received any parcels from Amazon posted on the 5th December (thats 5 dvds and 2 books missing), No chocolates from Hotel chocolat posted 29th November either -well fed up.

I know its not my postie as she is fine -its got to be the sorting office -but stuff isn''t coming from Scotland area -chocolates are London area -not sure where Amazon are .
  • it was the roads from glasgow and edinburgh that stopped the mail the flights were off at glasgow and edinburgh . we are working hard to move what we've got.
  • Well they posted one out on Friday 10th and that came today (Amazon)That was a replacement for one order thats not turned up and was posted beginning of December

not sure where Amazon are .

They have four distribution centres, one in Swansea, one in Glenrothes, another in Inverclyde and one in Milton Keynes. Easy to see why Scottish deliveries from Amazon are affected.

To contact Amazon contacts details, if you go into your account and go to the help section. At the side it says "contact us" go to this and choose phone. They will phone you .

I have had a few deliverys Im waiting on from the 3rd onwards.
I think they might be overly cautious as Im sure if will not be as bad as last week. What happens if its snows again in England or Wales ? will the whole of mainland Uk not be able to get deliverys ?
I understand they have a backlog but you cant give a blanket ban for orders for a whole country, especailly at Christmass time.
Well they will lose a lot of money, but sniff, I will miss out on my "internet blunders " bargains.

However seriousily Im not able to go shopping easily and am not well enought to trek around the shops, carrying items as I suspect a lot of people who use internet shopping are not able to either.

COOOKING-MAMA -your near me Im ML8 too.

Well Play are managing to get through, we ordered something last week and it was here today....How can one company deliver and not the others?!

Royal Mail i really don't get as Yorkshire has had as much snow as Glasgow and I am getting mail from there but not Glasgow...

I am assuming that Glasgow Royal Mail are too backed up to move, still waiting on a recorded delivery sent mid week last week...

Also i am waiting for two cards to turn up from here in the very North of Scotland to reach London posted at the end of November...Think i will have to admit Royal Mail have lost them...
