How can you order from Amazon in America? I've always wondered - it just keeps redirecting me back to the UK one! I wanted to buy a CD that was only available in the US - can't even download it in this country.

I'm not having a go at Amazon themselves. I had a super saver deilvery last week ordered on the Saturday with me on the Wednesday. I placed a smaller order a day later which they despatched last Tuesday and hasn't turned up yet. I can wait but if its still not here by the end of next week i'll be a bit miffed.

All round the world lots of countries get adverse weather and things still get delivered. What is it about the UK that we just cannot cope. Parts of the US and Europe have far worse than what we get and things keep moving.

Mine is two weeks overdue! Amazon say I can contact them tomorrow! So good of them!

It shouldn't redirect you, its just gives an option to switch to UK if you want. Some items are restricted to US only but most they will ship international.

My order was due on 13th Dec & I've just received an email from Amazon saying that I can have a refund/replacement on 21st Dec.

I'm waiting for a Supersaver delivery from Amazon. Due on the 14/12/10, it's been sat in the distribution centre in London since the 13/12/10.

I'll email them tomorrow if it doesn't arrive.

I'm also waiting for an order from Amazon Jersey but there isn't any tracking information for that one so it will arrive when it arrives.

Another parcel that was ordered from an independant seller via Amazon delivered the package in 2 days!

I ordered my fiance!'s Xmas present from Amazon on the 30th Nov, via Super Saver delivery and it still hasn't arrived yet. It said it was dispatched on the 3rd too!

My stuff is starting to come through from Amazon after a delay of over a week. I'm not going to complain about the delay however as I imagine there is some backlog in the royal mail / courier systems after the weather we've had.

Strangely though, I had ordered a Blu Ray player for my mum which was finally delivered to a neighbour while I was at work yesterday.
But it was delivered by HDL without any packaging other than the original Sony box with the pictures on the front of whats inside.
Now I've ordered loads of stuff from Amazon and it's always come very well packaged. This player for some reason came with just the original Sony box with a delivery note stuck on the front of it!
The box is damaged at all the corners and ripped as well.
Not like Amazon at all.

That being said, I have no intention of returning it as I have no idea how long a replacement would take to get here, and the player itself isn't damaged.

Like I say, i know the delivery systems are all choked at the moment so this isn't a complaint about them as I'm sure they're all doing their best to get things moving.

I placed an order on the 3rd of December with an estimated delivery of the 10th of December which arrived on the 13th so stuff is slowly getting through again.
