I'm still waiting for my order which I bought on 4th December. Just received some amazon parcels and that wasn't among it :( Presents from my mum were amongst it though. Delivery estimate was 8th December for the outstanding order. Wish I bought it from a shop now! I'll need to repost it as well, because I was handing over gifts on Friday just gone, needed it by then. Wish I just sent it straight there now!

I am in Scotland - we did have bad weather but the roads have been perfectly ok for quite a while now. Royal mail deliveries are late, but at least they are being delivered.

I placed an order with Amazon 30 Nov
    Delivery estimate December 6

Since then I have heard nothing neither from amazon nor the carrier HDNL, which I think is pretty poor customer service.:p

According to the amazon order tracker, it was handed over to HDNL on December 2... it is now December 14 :o

The HDNL order tracker has not registered any "events" whatsoever and just tells me to "check again later". I am not a fan of this carrier, and find it very irritating that they provide just a premium rate number. Eventually I managed to get through to my local HDNL depot who says that the parcel was never dispatched for processing. Since I had some issues with the carrier before, I am a bit sceptical and not sure whether to believe them or amazon. I found a phone number for the HDNL headquarters, but they refused to give out an ordinary, non-premium phone number for their customer service dept. And they refused to take my complaint and refused to provide a phone number that I could call to complain to.

Tried emailin Amazon yesterday, no response so far but I guess they may be a bit slow. It is really hard to get through on the phone. After trying for a good while I got through but their system was down. The rep agreed to call me back but did not. :(After trying to call them again later on, the next amazon rep refused to give any info to me (the order was addressed to me, but my husband placed it) and refused to email a status update to the email address registered with the order.

This has taken up quite a bit of my time and I'm not impressed.:(
  • I ordered my bits at amazon on 5th December. Those idiots managed to deliver all of it on 9th Decmeber. Who do I complain to, I should have at least had the parcels torn open by the postman, one item missing in the system and at least two out of stock!

Wales is clear DCF, we missed the majority of the bad weather. I know people travelling North South and West on a daily/weekly basis and there has been very little trouble with the weather so I dont see any reason why you would have a delay. :)

oh is it well ive still no idea why my 3 items arent here but maybe theres a baclog somewhere further along the line

  • I've also ordered through Amazon and had no joy.
Order placed on 2nd December, estimated delivery 7th December.

On tracking, my book is currently In Transit? It was Out For Delivery on 9th December at my local delivery office.... it's 10 minutes up the road! I'd go and search for it myself and pick it up if I wasn't at work all day, and it's shut when I finish!
  • Ive just had a parcel from amazon.com make its way over from america in 4 days since despatch, the parcels im waiting for from amazon.co.uk are now on day 12 . . . . .
