Amazon Delivery Delay

All my items received now finally from Amazon. Talk about 11th hour!

Was waiting for 8 packages from Amazon this week. Only 5 have arrived. 2 of those I am still waiting for were posted end of last week and I paid extra for 1st class thinking it would be fine - Amazon have never let me down before.

I managed to get replacements in the shops for 2 of the Amazon items and interestingly found they were cheaper there (bestseller items). Next year I will defiintely NOT be going automatically to Amazon.

I ordered a printer from Amazon for £52.70 and it did not arrive. I have been offered my money back and told to re-order it at £84.99. They make a big profit of £32.29. All details of the sorry tale take up 4 pages of information from them - words are cheap.

I feel as though I have been systematically lied to - anyone else had the same experience this Christmas?

I ordered 3 things on 4th December... one turned up on the 9th, 2 turned up on the 29th.

Needless to say I'd been in to town to replace one of the ones that hadn't turned up on christmas eve... when it did arrive, it went back to waterstone's, as i'd had to pay more for it there!

other one went back to amazon, am waiting for the refund... :mad:

The thing that annoyed me most was amazon's complete lack of customer service... 'Just wait, it'll turn up'... 'You've got to wait longer for a refund' etc... I won't be ordering from amazon in December ever again, will make sure i'm done earlier next year.
