A CD I ordered was dispatched on the 14th to my place of work but still hasn't turned up. I'll go in tomo morning just in case it turns up, but it's looking like I'll have to buy it in town as it's a present.

Never had any delays with Amazon supersaver delivery before - looks like the snow really has played havoc with them/Royal Mail.
  • I placed online orders with Boots and Sainsburys on the 21st - the Sainsburys one turned up on the 22nd (it was less than 21 hours from placing the order to receiving it) and the Boots one came yesterday. I was so impressed and have sent emails to the respective customer services to say this.

The order that I placed with Amazon on the 15th is currently 'in transit' - and has been for the last 6 days. If I had realised the order would be sent by CityLink I wouldn't have bothered ordering online and gone straight to the shops. CityLink seem to have a very poor service and I try to avoid using them whenever possible.
Don't judge people on they way they look, the way they speak or what they're called because they can't help that.

Only judge people on what they say and what they do.

My stuff supposedly despatched 6th December still not here :(

My order, which was supposedly dispatched on 6th Dec from Gourock Inverclyde via Royal Mail (although Royal Mail had not recievd it when I checked with them on 16th dec - it was stuck on route between Amazon and Royal Mail), finally arrived yesterday so fingers crossed for you :)

The 'replacement' parcel which was supposedly sent expedited delivery on 17th Dec via Citilink still hasn't arrived - the tracking says it was delivered to an address in Pembroke - the opposite side of the country from me - on 7th December, 10 days before it was sent! :D

  • I don't think it's Amazon that is at fault. I have had problems with City Link who deliver for Amazon. they give you about 10 seconds to answer the door, the they disappear!!!! On Tuesday mt parcel ended up at a nearby SHOP!!!! Today they delivered at 8.00am and no-one could get up in time. They have taken the parcel back even though I have a parcel store box. When i try to phone, there is no-one to take the call, even though they are supposed to be there from 7.00 am according to their card. i am thoroughly fed up!!! Amazon are great, i have no problem with them. Just CITY LINK!!!!!! ***!!!***!!!
  • I guess those parcels that have got stuck in warehouses are all at the very back. Whereas those that have come inlater are at the front and will get delivered sooner. Makes sense - Yes, No!! I'm confused too!

I ordered a book from Amazon (good job I don't want it as a gift) on the 16th, dispatched quickly from them to the courier HDNL but has not reached me and looking at the tracking not likely to until next week if I am lucky.

While I appreciate that we have been experiencing bad weather I fail to see why it has not been delivered as I have had items delivered over the last few days from the the location where the courier currently have the item so the roads are not the issue. I can not see why this courier is showing 'Delay in delivery due to external factors' it seems to me that they have taken on a service which they are unable to provide due to the time of year.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

City Link have just delivered the items that Amazon resent. The parcel was estimated to be delivered yesterday but it got here in time for Christmas and that's the main thing.
