  • Well I can give a little information about the trouble with Amazon my dad was working there yesterday, The staff turned up as normal for a days work to find out they wern't allowed in as they are made redundant.

Maybe thats whats going on. We have to feel sorry for all the people who have lost their jobs

Maybe they were just the casual contract staff. I would think there has been a sudden decline in orders after the press reports so the casuals would not be needed.

I'm waiting on two orders from Amazon. One was despatched 09/12, and one despatched last week, I paid extra for 1st class delivery. Still no sign.

OH also waiting on pressies for me :j from Amazon, citylink tracking says delivery was due 16/12, not been tracked since 16/12 when it was in Glasgow.

My awaited Amazon from City Link arrived today. They have been updating. Not happy with City Link who told me it was on a van yesterday but wasn't tracking. Have a feeling I was being told that so I would go away.

Most likely the reason, plus originally they were offering guaranteed christmas delivery until nearer Christmas then the problems with the bad weather started and they moved it all forward.

Originally you could order until 1pm tomorrow and if you chose express delivery they were guaranteeing delivery before christmas.

Ah there's hope yet for our book sent on 11 Dec expected 16 Dec on Super Saver. Two others expected today and tomorrow on first class.

Poor show who's ever fault it was - Royal Mail it seems.

A neighbour of my mother was expecting something (don't know who from). Carriers claimed it had been signed for. He is having a battle royal with them now. Bu88ers.
