You're lucky - my delivery was due on the 8th & I have been told to leave it till the 20th before they will replace/refund:(
Good to see that some orders are starting to trickle through.
its more than a trickle.
my old office has 3x as many tracked today, purely from amazon than it would from all suppliers today alone
i hear HDNL has pumped a load of small packets into RM to ease their load0 -
I realise there's a lot of snow in Scotland at the moment but surely something must have happened in the past 9 days? (I'm in South London).
This is what people don't understand. We don't have any snow up here! I live in Aberdeen and it all went last Thursday. Temperatures are mild and although there is snow forecast over the weekend, it is a relatively small amount that's forecast (~5cm).
People elsewhere in the UK seem to have got it into their heads that we're snowed in and that's why there's a delay in parcels, but...there just isn't any snow here.0 -
Aha! Progress!
I spoke to our lovely postie and explained my predicament. He told me that they had a cage load of Amazon mail in earlier to (hopefully) go out tomorrow. He is going to have a sort through the 3 skips of parcels and try and find my missing 6 for me when he gets back in and drop them in tomorrow.
He did say that there is no truth to the rumour they are delivering new packages before the backlog, just that they are backlogged and working to catch up.0 -

Maybe, he did say it seemed unusual to get such a bulk of Amazon parcels at once when they have trickles for a week. In fact, Postie himself is waiting for an Amazon parcel0 -

'pressure' will do little
all the sectors of RM are under pressure now
I dont think people realise just how busy this time of year is normally
the problems thrown in to this will make it manic
he RM tracked product has ballooned in popularity this year(epsecially Amazon) so this adds to the workload0 -
Hi - had a lovely chat with a 'nice' amazon lady from Ireland. Very sorry that my CD hasn't arrived - seems it was despatched from the Glasgow fulfillment centre on 5th December. forgive me but wasnt scotland snow bound then I said and she replied possibly but thats where the computer found most stock of the CD!!!!! They have asked that I wait until the 20th and then they will discuss replacement or refund.....any which way thats one Christmas present which may not get where it needs to unless I buy it from a shop and use special delivery!!!.....oh.......and she never said sorry!!!0
