I ordered my camera on the 8th online and was Next Day Delivery....waited and waited.
Just today, 20th, I enquired with DHL, saying I checked the online tracking and it hasnt moved from Lichfield Service Centre since the 9th, they said due to adverse weather there was a backlog, I asked 'are you sure it's not lost?' they said 'of course not'
Rang Jessops immediately to release my anger and they said they will also check the progress, got back to me and said it was lost!!!!
They will send the claim forms to DHL to order a replacement! So that's another extra week I have to wait! Royal Mail have been great this time round... DHL you're going down...! :mad:0 -
Oddly, we have the worst snow that Clevedon has seen in years right now, knee deep out there and no exaggeration, yet so far DHL, Parcel Force and City Link have all dropped off parcels, and my postie has been as usualWe have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

What are our rights with returning items that have been delivered late? (by this I mean after Xmas, when we have been assured that they will arrive before). I have about 6 items from Amazon which have all breached their estimated delivery date but stated they will arrive by the 24th. Would I have to pay for the postage to send them back if they don't?0

Hi
Finally, I was able to pick up my parcel. I understand that some people cannot/don't want to do this but at least I have my stuff for christmas.
All you people out there who are having problems contacting Home Delivery Network, go to the saynoto0870.com website, put in the HDN 0871 phone number in and up will come all the local numbers for their distribution warehouses. Even if you don't want to pick up your parcel they may be able to give you a better idea of when they will be delivering.

I'm having a nightmare at the moment with dhl. They aparantly tried delivering last Monday when I was in. Items have never been logged back in since. They wont say they have lost them. They wont tell me anything ggrrrr. I keep calling several times a day, yet nothing. Sender will not resend until dhl grow a pair and confess they have lost the boxes(

my problems are with parcel force, i ordered some bike parts for my son for xmas as he is building his own bmx, i ordered them last thursday, i get a email from the seller with a tracking number.
I track the parcel and its loaded onto the delivery van on friday at 638am and says out for delivery, i wait in all day and its not delivered so i thought i would wait until today, when i check it say not delivered due to adverse weather condtions. friday weather here was fine no ice
I rang parcelforce today and the women said my parcel could be stuck in london, i point out that i have been tracking it and its in my city, she didnt know what to say, i ring again later today and another lady says they are not sending out any drivers today yet a parcelforce van drove past me earlier. i asked if i can collect the item from their depot, " do i have a card that was put though the door" No, as you havent tried to deliver it yet, so the reply i got was i cannot collect from the depot unless i have had a card through the door
:mad::mad::mad:
what do i do, just wait and see if they deliver it, i know the snow/ice is causing problems but i had a royal delivery by van today0 -
I ordered all my Christmas gifts on the internet back in early November, I had a hunch that the delivery depots would be overwhelmed.
I'm very concerned that one of my parcels (value £132) from a store on Amazon has not arrived. I've tried contacting them twice on the "contact the seller" and as of yet no reply. It states that there was no tracking information held. Does anyone know of any other way of contacting the Amazon helpdesk - is there a telephone number?
If it doesn't arrive for Christmas I have a standby gift organized but its not the point. On a mission!

We have three parcels outstanding. The contract is with the reailer and not their delivery company. Surely any effort to locate a parcel is up to them, isn't it?0

I couldn't have picked a worse time to move into my first home. As I don't have the use of a car, I'm getting large items delivered. I was expecting a sofabed from John Lewis to be delivered between 7am and 2pm today. Got a call at 4pm to apologise for the failed delivery and that is has been re-schduled for tomorrow. Not happy with the fact that they only bothered to phone me 2 hours after the last expected time.
I've wasted another day being stuck at home waiting for failed deliveries (don't get me started with DHL!). DFS are suppposed to be delivering my sofa tomorrow, what are my chances?

Slightly off topic I guess, but does anyone know how the law stands with returns. I have sent stuff back that hasn't made it in time for the within 14 days for a refund :-( I also missed out on a cash back on my mobile phone bill that arrived late even though I posted it in what would have normally been plenty of time.0
