I've ordered something from Tesco.Direct 2 days ago with stated delivery to store today. However, at 4pm I've received a text saying that due to adverse weather, the order is delayed. I am also waiting for Debenhams order to arrive but it has only been 2 days so far so not expecting it yet. All other orders arrived relatively quick (Asos, Game, Debenhams, BHS) but one from Currys which took 10 days to arrive.0

Hi
I'm new!
I live in central Scotland where the snow was bad and have been waiting on a parcel delivery from Home Delivery Network (Yodel) for three weeks. I have tracked my parcel and it is in a Warehouse only 5 miles from my home! I tried to phone their 0871 number to see when they would deliver but it is constantly engaged. However I remembered the saynoto0870 website and tracked down the phone number of the warehouse. I phoned them (they answered straight away!), gave them my tracking number, they are going to phone me back when they have found it and I am going to pick it up, so I will have my parcel before Christmas.
So if you are lucky enough to live near a warhouse you can pick your parcel up yourself if you are willing to do that.

A big thumbs down for amazon from me too. I ordered a lot of items on the internet. They can blame the weather and royal mail all they like but every other retailer i used got their items to me on time using royal mail 2nd class. Seeing my friends for the last time before christmas tomorrow and most of them will now be getting nothing thanks to amazon.
They still have the cheek to promise delivery before christmas on their website, somehow i doubt i'll see any of my stuff before the new year at this rate.

@ zanneone - I managed to get through to Boohoo this morning. Apparently they have about 2 weeks' worth of parcels backed up somewhere but are hoping to get them in the post over the weekend and delivered early next week. I had an email from them dated 7 days ago telling me my item had been despatched, but they've given me the tracking number, and it hasn't even entered the post yet.
