I am FUMING with BHS!!

Still not received my order from 2nd Dec or the one on 3rd

H&M one came today ... So getting a parcel from SWEDEN is quicker than getting one from the UK

Good idea to post delivery experiences here to WARN OTHERS as there are many people still thinking you can order from BHS etc over the coming days and still get delivery by Christmas = BIG RISK but hope everyone gets theirs who ordered in good time..

Place an order on 2nd December - Expect it by Christmas? HELL YEAH!!!!

Have decided I will be placing NO further online orders with ANYONE - Nomatter HOW tempting their online offers or discounts are...

Free postage? ... I don't care if its free or not - just wanted my items delivered in reasonable time and with this SECOND spell of snow forecast - Then NO WAY am I placing any further online orders before Christmas if I expect them to be delivered in time for Christmas!

I have a voucher for Secret Sales which I will use before Christmas on toiletries but then tell my daughters there will be a few extra post - Christmas pressies for them..

Pity though as the whole UNPREDICTABILITY of it all before you order is a real gambling game ... Some arrive in 2 DAYS!!!! ... Some nothing after 11 days +

I need to get a few extra bits but will hit the shops as I think most people will do now as online is getting to be a no go area and instore still have loads of bargains

I didn't WANT to get caught up in the whole packed shops , long queues , crowded centres scenario to be honest ... But will have to brave the shops and supermarkets if I want to get the things I need to get in time!!

Its just frustrating now seeing all the special offers online posted on the grabbit board and being SOOOOO tempted to order but knowing it is a big gamble now which looks like it won't pay off - So will have to pass!!!

BHS are shocking, no wonder that they struggle for customers.

Placed an order online on 5th Dec and am still waiting for it to track. Finally got through to their customer services line - though I use the term customer services very lightly - was told that my order was sat in a container somewhere near Droitwich waitng to be unpacked and that if it hadnt arrived by friday I may wish to call back for a refund!!!!

Now I know the weather was bad for a few days but everything is moving again now.

Got a watch delivered with in 3 days that I ordered the day after BHS. Terrible organisation, wont be using them again

I too have banned myself from ordering anything more online. I have 8 orders outstanding, all despatched and lost in limbo; thought I was so organised this year!
Its pot luck what will come in time. Its going to be a mess having to send back stuff that eventually arrives too late that I've had to go out & buy elsewhere...
What is frustrating is contacting the retailers who either can't help or say "give it another 10 days before contacting us again".
Time is running out.

One of my BHS orders FINALLY arrived today!!!!

The other one is at my local depot so I should get it tomorrow - What a nightmare its been though - And the last thing we need at this time of year is MORE STRESS!!

The only reason I ordered online apart from getting the good offers is the STRESS FREE convenience of it all

I WAS recommending online shopping to everyone before this delay - But 2 weeks to arrive is pretty BAD..

So am not impressed at all - So next year will I have to start ordering at the beginning of November if we have bad weather to come???

I just wish it was ''stress free shopping'' as it SEEMS to be AT THE TIME OF ORDERING - But then the DELIVERY NIGHTMARES , c*ck ups , calls to customer services etc etc begins and makes it a totally nightmare experience when its actually meant to be a PLEASURE!

What I hate the most is these companies are so quick to take your money then bombard you with e-mails of their next special offers etc but they don't seem to have very good follow up AFTER you've ordered and parted with your money

Yet they expect you to order again!!

Some 'Customer Services' ARE pretty good but alot are RUBBISH and have such an uncaring attitude that it puts you off for life! lol

I am waiting for various CDs DVDs etc ordered over a week ago from Amazon, HMV etc. Had 'shipped' emails for most of them, dating from the 6th to the 10th of December. How much longer should I wait until chasing them up ?

Asda Entertainment is slow too... Ordered on 7th...says 3-5 days to dispatch...

so say it was dispatched on the 12th, still not here after 4 days!!!

Must agree that Asda Entertainment is really slow, I'm still waiting for them to deliver my daughters main xmas present, (dispatched 6 days ago!)
