I really don't know what to do as nobody seems to want to give me any financial help because this house is seen as an asset.

In case demir comes back can we confirm that the residential home is not seen as an asset for the purpose of benefits as long it is her main/only residence.

The house is only an asset if she lives some--where else and still has her name on the deeds is it not?

demir find a rotweiller of a lawyer and stay in teh house.

for further info why does the CSA claim not get back dated to the initial claim date?

    Hello,

I am not too far away. I have an appointment on 20th to have a benefit check and discuss housing/mortgage options. I am not moving out and yes he used the house over christmas and because he is working nights he used my bed to sleep in on wednesday when I was at work.
I currently get 25% discount on ct and this month my eldest has qualified for the 15 hours free childcare which should help at nursery when they work out their figures.
I am still here but so so busy and not much news to report because of christmas holidays.
I will post again when I have more news - thanks for all your help xxx

Thanks for updating us D, we was worried that you might have left. I am glad everything seems to be moving in the right direction. Just give us an update when we can. I check back daily to see if you have been back and left a message :)

Did you hide the bed linen over Xmas? I'll be hiding the duvet and blankets too. Maybe get a cupboard and put a lock on it and stick it in there when you are on nights.
  • Can I have your husbands details so I can bash him over the head with something hard?!

  • You really need to get on to Tax Credits too... as I and many other posters have said your award is clearly to low considering the amount of childcare you pay.

Can I put conditions attached to the times that my ex partner takes or visit my children such as at a reasonable hour or for atleast 3 hours and where he takes them?
  • I am really new here but just wanted to say I have read your thread and think you are doing a great job with your kids and are a great mum. The kindness other poster have showed is amazing too. My ex partner was very difficult after our split and it is really hard to carry on some days beacuse you feel like you can never get to a point where everything will be sorted out. It took a lot of time but we now work on an amicable basis and am now able to move on with life without making decisons based on how I think he will react or what he will do. You will get there if you stay strong xx
