Our postie came today with various bits and pieces, which was a pleasant surprise. If the weather really is going to be bad again next week I look forward to seeing him again in the new year."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

Just had 2 RM items delivery (Sunday!) - must be sub contracting some of the deliveries as don't think it was a RM van - only 8 more items to arrive - still delighted with the 2 that arrived - giving me hope that I may see the rest this week.:T0

Most weeks I've received a cheque from a company. Yesterday I received two envelopes, each containing a cheque, the cheques were in different hand-writing in different coloured ink, indicating they were written by different people on different days.
The letters accompanying the cheques were dated 24 November and 6 December, so 12 days apart.
I have no idea if they sat on the cheques, due to the weather/maybe their office was closed, or if they were waiting to have enough money in the bank before sending them, or if it was the Xmas post.0 -
Well good for them - my faith has been restored after the last 48hrs of thinking all my items had been lost in the 'Royal Mail System'. Now I just need my other 8 items to arrive...!;)0

I'm [STRIKE]gutted[/STRIKE] disappointed, I ordered a DVD set from amazon at end Nov and it was despatched on 2nd Dec, estimated delivery was 7th Dec. It still hasn't arrived so I emailed on 10th asking for an update as the person it was for is emigrating on the 14th Dec (tomorrow).
They replied saying it was due to the bad weather and to enquire again on the 15th - I wouldn't mind but fylde coast has had barely any snow at all! :rotfl:
Also the gift is not quite so useful when the person has emigrated the day before...:o:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

Has anyone contacted Royal Mail about making a claim for missing/delayed post?
I posted a parcel on 1st Dec which hasnt arrived yet and normally i would make a claim after 15 days, but because mail has been delayed due to the snow not sure whether to leave it a bit longer.
My customer is getting impatientErrrr...come back later0 -
I've just had a message from one of my buyers in Scotland asking where his item is. I posted it out on the 6th December and he still hasn't received it so i'm assuming there are still lots of delays up there. The item I posted at the same time also going to Scotland was delivered yesterday so i'm hoping this won't be to far behind it.If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00
