How long is you post taking to arrive?

i sent out 3 parcel 1st class but not recorded on Friday 6th Dec, 2 of which was London bound and one for West Midlands.

the one to West Mids has got there but not the other two!? how come?

Well my guaranteed for Thursday parcel from Home delivery network is still nowhere to be seen.

Maybe I'd better start shouting 'where's me stuff'. Ordered 30th and still not here.

Items we posted on Mon, Tues & Wed seem to have got through OK.
My apologies to anyone who we posted stuff to between the 30th and the 4th. Hardly any of it has got though yet.
My apologies to everyone that is except the pr*** in France who sent an email saying his stuff hadn't arrived, opened a not received dispute and escalated it to a claim, all within 15 minutes. I hadn't even translated the first message when the third one came through.
....and please don't say he probably doesn't understand English.
All messages were sent in English and French - he's a BOGOF ebay buyer.
Something I found out too late.
4 items sent in one parcel, untracked, to save him money = 4 negatives, he's already promised to give me those.

Royal Mail are trying hard, we even had a Sunday delivery, but this weather has caused them all sorts of problems.
Judging by the two RM vans I saw today, the ones with the artistic dents and scrapes, I wonder how many vehicles and drivers they are short of now.

my old office has 2 vans off road now. a few others with dents
one mangers car is also dented (and you will like this one)
his words were (on the day off heavy snow that Edinburgh near ground to a halt)
its not as bad as they are making out,I will be back in 10 minutes(taking out a bag to a postman on the street)
90 minutes later he comes back with the side of his car smashed in after losing control

Is there an alternative number to call RM on, rather than the one that leads to you having to say the tracking number and wait ages for it to automatically tell you what's on the website.

Can't i just get strait through to someone/get in a queue.
Special delivery item posted on 6th December.....still making its way through their system!!!

go to/call(or ask the buyer to) an RM delivery office
give them the tracking number and ask them to do a track and audit trail
this will tell you the last track
even if its at their local DO.the customer site wont show that until its actually allocated on delivery

RM CS dont seem to have access to the full intranet track and trace

The snow didn't start until the 26th November I think it was as my birthday was on the 24th and there was no snow then. For those that have sent parcels and signed for delivery services just quote this link as other than flying it to them in a personal jet nothing is getting through quickly at the mo (i'm waiting for 6 parcels and none have been delivered, so i'm not holding my breath for a while, but it has been pvery bad), and apparently more snow is due Thursday so some parcels apparently won't be delivered until new years if it happens, so I hear.
