Hi my sister was born on 22nd april 1985, my mum and dad were still together between 2001-2003 and were both in employment, I just want to clarify that she could put in a claim before we send the letter. Cheers in advance.

Thanks for sharing this info.I have been in touch with my tax office and have been advised that I am owed money!! :j
I just wanted to say to anyone trying to keep trying as it has taken me ages to get anywhere.I have just spoken to the first person at my tax office who actually knows what I am talking about and has checked and told me I am entitled. All the others had no idea!!!
My tip, if you are not getting any joy is to keep ringing as the chances are there is someone there who will cotton on to what you are talking about!!
Good luck!! Hope mine all goes through ok.

My son was born in 1991 and I found all my husbands PAYE coding notices. The only thing that is included in this is: job expenses, personal allowance, car benefit and medical insurance payments. If he was claiming this childrens tax credit, would it be mentioned along with the other items. Sorry for being a bit confused but if I need to write to the tax office I will do it tomorrow. Thanks for any help.

I am not sure if it would be on Payslips, but what have you got to lose, just send a letter to tax office, asking has this benefit been paid, and could they check for you.

Give your name, d.o.b,NI Number, Tax code
husbands name, d.o.b, NI Number, Tax code

    Childs name d.o.b.
