    Hi everyone

I have just phoned my tax office and my husbands tax code didnt change when my 1st daughter was born in October 2001. They are sending me out a form to complete within the week. Fingers crossed and thank to the OP.

PS If u are phoning the tax office I went through https://www.saynoto0870.com, they had plenty of normal phone numbers to try for tax offices, instead of the 0845 numbers

I got my cheque in less than a month from my initial claim letter. Guess they may be busy as its year end, but if its been more than 4 - 6 weeks I would give them a call.

It would depend on the tax office you are dealing with. I am dealing with Nottingham and heard nothing yet.

    We have progress!!!................I think:confused:

Received a letter from the tax office today, well aform showing the tax calculation for yr 01-02 it's quite confusing and there's no guide on how to understand it, it says Repayment of tax - 519.12 and it says repayment due but there is no cheque or anything to say if/how they will pay it to us?????
On the front of the form says...THIS REPAYMENT FOLLOWS YOUR CLAIM FOR CTC AND IS CARRIED FORWARD TO THE NEXT YEAR:confused: What does this mean? Does this mean that we did recieve it the following year but no it can't cos then it wouldn't say repayment due would it???

I'm also confused as to why we've received this one for 01-02 cos we filled out an 11ctc for 02-03 and enclosed a letter asking about 01-02????

    HELP????

Can I expect a cheque to arrive in another post then? I don't understand why it's not included?
