As does mine, meter read sent for gas now, switch date confirmed as 4th Feb, and top cashback became payable this morning which I have now claimed... thank god thats over with...

Touch wood, my EDF account now seems to be properly set up. An added bonus is my topcashback for this became payable this morning, even though i haven't paid EDF a penny yet :money:. Just waiting for the £100 'welcome' bonus which i feel I've probably earned!!

Yer, the £180 doesn't feel like a 'bonus' anymore, feels like compensation... lol. Glad it's FINALLY working out for every1!

still no electric gone over to EDF for me

I call Atalntic , " your electric is still with us sir"

I call EDF , " your Gas and electric is with us now sir"

I check my bank this morning , Atlantic have taken a DD for electric :mad:

cbrpaul sorry to hear you are still having problems.
I found that with my account SP still took half the DD (for gas) even when the change over had happened because EDF had not submitted the final gas reading over to SP.

EDF did eventually submit this reading and then I received a final gas bill from SP. I have received a refund for overpayment for my electricity account and now awaiting refund for my gas account which they said will be here shortly

I supplied opening readings (online) to EDF on 18/1, and despite the readings being accepted and visible in My Account, the system still says 'awaiting opening reading' for both gas and electricity accounts.
And SP still took their normal DD on 31/1, grr...
EDF haven't yet taken a DD, but whether that's by accident or design , only time will tell.

The 'awaiting opening reading"was on my account a while but did eventually go after I received an email telling my to log into my account as I had an important message .
The message was confirmation of what they will take from the bank and at what dates .

I think the thing is with EDF they have there own speed at doing things and nothing will change until they decide it is the right time

I have supplied many readings for my electric between 5/12/10 and 31/01/11 , still nothing showing in my EDF account

Similar to macman , it says waiting for reading ,

Gas has gone over , got a letter from Atlantic , and I owe Atlantic £15 for Gas , which is great considering the harsh winter in the last few months !! :T


I contacted Atlantic earlier , and they have said my account is all transfered,but they are waiting on a final electric from EDF to issue a final account, nothing can be done until EDF issue this final reading to them !!

Im sure i will have a refund from Atlantic too , as i have jsut paid another electric DD payment to them !!

Quidco has now validated so my £80 compensation oops i mean bonus should be ok :rotfl: along with the £100 from EDF ,
