I'll pass on the frogs legs and snails but a nice ripe brie to wash down with the chablis would work a treat. Look forward to it.0

My gas and electricity were both transferred late December/early January. It has been "validated" on 25th December 2010. Did anyone elses take this long? When should I expect to actually receive the £80?0
-
It will never validate until you have actually gone on supply with EDF. Otherwise people would be switching and then cancelling in order to get the cashback. You should get the payment credited in the next couple of months-check on your cashback provider's account to see what the typical payout time is.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Regarding the on-line system is the problem that there was a change over of systems near the end of the offer and customers who signed up in early December were put on the new system and therefore suffered no or less problems and customers who signed up when the old system was running are the ones who have been affected by the issues .
To be honest I have not had many problems with the change over and all completed within a 6 week period and I am able to access my account on-line.
I received an email this week to advise me to look at my on-line account as I have an important message and in there and it was telling the dates when the DD will go out and the amounts.
Well done backfoot for all your work you have done to help clarify the gas tariff issue
As someone has suggested a company rep on this site would be helpful0 -
My Gas tfrd on 16/12 & Electric on 06/12. My quidco cashback still not vaidated - still showing as Tracked.
I rang EDF yesterday and my Electric is on Saver 7 and £75 has been applied. When I asked about the Gas account - Gas was on their standard tarif - the person manually changed it to Saver 7 and applied £25 to the account.
Not sure possibly thats the reason why my Quidco still showing as tracked? and not validated as yet.
Anyone wlse had this problem with EDF being on diffirent tariff and cashback not being validated - has been validated once the tariff has been changed?
Dont want to loose out with £80 cashback because of EDF error.

bloody edf, now shut for the weekend! supposedly transferred my gas to them on the 13the but checked online at scottishpower (old supplier) and my account is back with them. AAAARGh!! havent confessed to husband how badly this has all gone so shouldering all stress on ownGrocery Challenge Feb 16 £346 /4000

I know what you mean, mothershipton. I'd never switched to another energy supplier before, and so this was a "wonderful" first experience.
Finally thought I was getting somewhere yesterday when I was actually able to submit a meter reading online for the first time. But now the "My Account" section of their website is inaccessible again due to "system maintenance".
The whole thing is really tiresome.0 -
Had an email today asking for my gas meter reading so it looks like the 3rd of Feb may actually be the change over date:)0

Mine seems to be sorted now as well.0
