Have you checked the rates charged?
I've only had one bill, what should the rate be? XI work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.
Any information I give should not been seen as being given from first direct or Santander however I do have certain knowledge from working there.
Thank you, Chrissy :wave:0 -
I had Direct Debit figures confirmed on writing and email, of £48 electric & £32 gas each month.
I got a letter today telling me my Monthly DD would be £37 electric & £32 gas
Why did they change it, I was happy with the original figures and quite sure they were fine I dont want a debt building up on my electric account....

It depends what region you live in and whether you have a standard meter or Economy 7.
You should have a tariff table in the leaflet 'Cheaper bills and competive prices until Dec2011.' if not let me know the above and I will look it up for you.0 -

Honest answer? Because they seem to be an absolutely shambolic company in almost every respect. I'm a serial switcher and have therefore switched supplier many many times, and this is far and away the worst experience i have ever experienced. By a country mile.0 -
Also I absolutley despise that music you get when on hold :mad::mad:

I've looked it up and yes it's right. I'm in Yorkshire on a standard meter so 7.28p per kwh exc. VAT and fixed daily charge on 26.62p exc. VAT which is exactly whats on my electricity bill...
Therefore without complaining, and after being told Electricity would be on Standard tariff until the gas goes over (which hasn't yet), it would appear they are charging me correctly on Online 7... woohoo!! Something goes right at last!!!!I work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.

Still waiting for topcashback however it is confirmed... also, on my electricity bill, although the figures are correct, it doesn't show any of my welcome bonus? Anyone else had this problem or has it shown on everyones 1st bill? XI work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.

Don't waste your time.Put the phone down. Pay what they want ,save the difference until they correct it. You earn a bit of interest and get on with your life.
Mine is way too low, but they can chase me rather than me chase them.0
