Did they give you a reason for the delay, gemmalouanna? They told me that they applied "too early" for the gas switchover which meant that it was rejected by Transco.

The 3rd Feb certainly seems to be a popular date here.

Nothing about applying too early for me.

They said the new system had overridden previously set date and set the new date of 3rd Feb.

    Who knows???

I have been told by "very good authority" that EDF will be putting up its energy prices in March , after their recent price freeze , by how much my source did not know !!

Given that the contractual price freeze ends March 1st, that really comes as no great surprise.
They might even manage to get all us Online Saver V7 switchers on supply by then...
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Well I'm now half way there. Another week to go on the gas still.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Has anyone actually managed to submit a meter reading successfully to EDF yet, using their online system?

I have, but your never confident that you've done it. I ended up ringing them and asking if it was on their system! Very shoddy IT system!
  • I got my both my readings in on the 10th, which was the latest of 3 dates given for service to start. I had got an electicity reading in a week earlier.
Both readings appear if I go back to the submit page.
Heard nothing since then from EDF or SP. My SP login still works and my EDF account show my contract ending 31/12/2011.
