Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. Found out today that my gas has been put forward to 3rd Feb, was meant to be 4th Jan! Elec went through fine in December, I'll have to chase up the difference if they're charging me standard rate.0

It does seem very bizarre that everyone is being told the 3rd Feb.. I was told that too... however my old supplier called me the other day and they said the 6th Feb.
I other news, I've had a weeks electricity bill come on the online account with EDF and it seems to show my tariff as 'Online Saver 7 Electricity' so would that read that I am not being charged the standard tariff.. I think it would...I work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.
Any information I give should not been seen as being given from first direct or Santander however I do have certain knowledge from working there.
Thank you, Chrissy :wave:0 -
can someone confirm , that
If they have not transferred both elec and gas within the 2 month window as promised , they have broke the reg and rules on transferring , and you are quite within your rights to cancel the whole process and not get a penalty ?0 -

I've heard that in passing but don't know, a/ if it's true and b/ if it's 2 months from when you asked to move to them or if it's 2 months between gas and electricity switching?I work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.

But you would be forfeiting the £180 total cash back, which surely is the reason we all switched in the first place? I'm riding it out, I want my money, lol.0
