  • the thing that annoys me is that BT won't tell you your contract is expiring and if you don't renew they charge you more than a new customer:(
  • Just to bump, and confirm that latest BT retentions offer for unlimited broadband and anytime calls is indeed £18.15 per month. Very happy!
  • I have just left BT for Orange offer of £17.50 inclusive of evening and weekend calls, unlimited broadband and line rental. There was no need to pay a year up front to get a a decent line rental price either. The contractis only for 12 months and BB and call prices fixed - for ever.

I did leave BT mid contract and they said they would charge me £90 for leaving 5 months early!!! Orange offered to pay up to £50 early leaving charges but after explaining to BT that they hadn't warned me of the price rises in (November??) they agrred to lower the price.

After refunds due to a mix up over the swapping providers date my final bill for the last 2 months was £5.44!!!!

Result that I wasn't expecting. And due to the same mix up Orange refunded my 1st months line rental too.

For once I don't feel ripped off by BT.:)
