Went to Tesco last night at about 8pm and although it was busy it was surprisingly pleasant! The queue's weren't long, the people were calm and the shelves were stocked full! Whizzed round in 30 minutes, got everything on my list and walked out with a smile on my face!0

i went to morrisons yesterday about 9am - pretty quite but by the time i came out they were queuing for the car park.
tescos where my sister works is open until 10pm on christmas eve this year - i ask you'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0 -
I have just come from Morrisons and the butcher told me if I come back on Christmas eve at least an hour before the shop closes I will get all my meats very cheap as they have to get rid of a lot of the food due to the shop closing for the holidays.
I wish I new about this a couple of years ago I could have been saving money from then. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

Well, first of all there is only 3 of us in our household (me, my hubby & 22yr old daughter) and don't tend to buy much more than I usually buy but...
YES! I do go bargain hunting on Christmas Eve! I've already bought a fresh Smart Price chicken but that will be going in the freezer if I get another bargain like I got on Christmas Eve last year! It was a turkey that was originally £23 reduced to about £6! I got a few other bits too that helped fill up the freezer!
If I didn't leave the house tomorrow we would still have a nice Christmas dinner but finding a bargain will make it taste a hundred times better!
