I have done, once, due to chronic delays with flights, and it was NOT quiet!0

I always go shopping on Christmas eve - I am up and collecting my turkey from the butchers at 7am then striaght to do food shopping - it's usually quite quiet0

I try to get everything in but pop dowwn to the local co-op round the corner just to check out their whoopsies! Once dropped by and found reduced turkeys!Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

I will probably pop to the co op for milk and bread and see what reductions they have, having our monthly tesco shop delivered on the 19th so we shouldnt need much.
My neice works at a morrisons and last year they had to close the doors on xmas eve and let customers in and out one at a time as it was so busy!Mum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -
No deffently not, nothing to do with it being busy, (although it will be, I'm sure) but the fact that Christmas Eve is an holiday day as far as I'm concerned, and one thing I do not do on holiday is wonder around Sainsburys

Christmas Eve is always awful to work
Customers are in panic mode for some reason and just grab everything and will shove people out of the way to do so. Shops are only shut for one day! And even then some will be open - Spar opens Christmas day - if you really are desperate.

I agree with juno, having to work in a store on xmas eve its a nitemare. For a change i would like to say instead of B1G1F, BOGOF To all especially the ones last year fighting over the last turkeys, pots of cream and get yourself organised and give the staff a break.0

you serious, christmas eve is usually packed, well it depends wher eyou ould do the shopping, if a store in town centre then speaking from experience it might be dead but if a store out of town then it could well be packed but if you go early eg 7 or 8 then you might be lucky and beat the rush
id suggest getting most of the stuff early as you can and only go to the shops for stuff you are short on eg milk, bread,0 -
