    Hi diggerman123 - Take care.
It's not uncommon for firms supplying Goods and Services to have a clause in thier Terms & Conditions, that ownership of what they supplied does not pass to the customer until they are paid for

Arresting and charging are not the same as convicting and obtaining satisfaction.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

But the Op thinks he has paid, not in cash but with his labour. And even if it were true that he hasn't paid the garage, the solution is for them to go to the Small Claims, not to send in the heavies.

What if the roof is leaking and the OP won't repair it. Has he kept to his side of the bargain?

Audience participation at it's best. Now we've given the garage a leaking roof, what about it collapsing under the weight of the snow?:D
