I agree the debate bit is a nonsense. Chucky was right when he said this place is recreation.
For myself, I just like to p1ss about here. Perhaps that makes me a troll on occasion. We're all sock puppets. It's a creative thinky outlet. It's hardly Policy Exchange.
Anyway, if that debate has been "won" then you may as well close down the forum altogether.
Comparatively, who needs a "Debate whether the sky is blue" forum?
I mean, surely if the debate was over we wouldn't be having bulls being so insecure as to hammer their own point just as the bears do. Oh yeah, see what I did? Made a point that OP is peaking in insecurity.
And it's the insecurity on both sides that keeps the forum going.Long live the faces of t'wunty.0 -

I've come to this thread a bit late, but I'd rather see the board as "debate the economy". I think by having both house prices and the economy in the title its in two minds as to what it is and puts new people off. House prices are an important subset of the economy but they aren't the be all and end all. Personally I find threads about other facets of the economy more interesting as house prices tend to get done to death. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
