I'd hedge my bets and say January - just not which January :rotfl:

why doesn't every regular get a new username & we can have our own advent calendar style try to work out who is who?:D

I think many did that in 2009. Not for Christmas, just because something unforeseen was happening.:)

A new username is not just for christmas...:)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I think it should be renamed "THE ROLLING BULL FALLBACK POSITION DISCUSSION PAGE".

We've gone from "new paradigm" to "soft landing" to "woo hoo, prices never fell 50% as suggested by a handful of posters".

We can't debate because if you disagree with the bulls you are wrong...

Much like now, the bulls keep telling me asking prices aren't dropping, yet I can see they are.

TBH this kind of "it's them" is what pees me off, Many will remember in 2008 I thought house prices would fall 25-35%.
I was called a Bull and a lot worse for thinking that, I purchased a house in the set scope I thought falls would go to.
Again this year I said HPI would be around 0% (give or take a bit, stagnant) for 2010, I was told how wrong I would be etc.

You are not seeing how you are just as guilty as you view "bulls" all as wrong???

Cut the groups and listen to the debate rather than segragating people in to what you believe correct and what you see as wrong. Some area will have risen this year some will have fallen, neither are wrong.

PS many as people class them "bulls" think asking prices are fairly irrelevent. It is sold prices that matter, asking prices cant tell you if prices are falling or rising as house prices are negotiable.

It amazes me that some off the longest posters on here think everything is all over & done with when there are at least 18 months left of carp & most probably longer.

These are people that claim to have extensive experience but yet they cannot even make sense of Land Registry reports. :p

But at the end of the day what happens from now nobody knows because its unchartered territory & still global.

I really had no idea what was going on economically when I joined. Now, I think I have learned that I understood even less when I joined!:o I'm not sure how much I have learned yet, either. Perhaps my education needs to continue.:o

To be fair Really2, I suspect what the poster you replied to is getting at, is that it appears there is quite an entrenchment at the moment, with opposing views being quite vitriolic in attitude.

My perception is there are both bullish & bearish posters, who, at the moment, deliberately, & I'd argue knowing engage in baiting, downright nastiness, and some posts/successions of posts have, imo only, bordered on bullying.

People can & should disagree. The nastiness, & virtual personal attacks need stopping though.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
