Actually you did abuse the code. The code was from an insert that they put in to a parcel when you order from them so if you didn't receive that code yourself it's abuse of it. I ordered many with a different code sent to me in a previous package they all turned up within the next two days probably because I was a regular customer.

i am a regular customer too and i also bought my ghd's there a month or so ago , i have only recieved one of my orders and all money has been taken out but no emails no nothing. terrible service!! and i have been sticking up for them the last few weeks. not now tho! how dare they take money from us all and not even email so say whats happening. if they arnt sending us the goods, then just refund and email - simple

I've started to leave comments on their facebook comments asking where my deliveries are.

    We should all do it!

I did too but they deleted it!!

  • I've opened a PayPal dispute as well as posting on their Facebook page - I'm letting them know I ain't happy. Thing is, the earliest order I'm waiting on was ordered 18 days ago, without the use of any codes! So don't know what excuse they will fob me off with for that! I'm also waiting on 3 I made using £2.50 code, and 1 I've made since without code.
  • Have people been ringing them or emailing to get a response?

What are people doing who haven't paid by Paypal but by card? I'm still waiting after three emails to them and have heard nothing. It's only £2.75 I'm chasing but it's the principle rather than the amount that I'm p**sed off about.

I have put in a paypal claim too! They have until 19th Dec to respond - we will see!

Abuse of code or not - it is serious bad practice to take a customers money when you have no chance/no wish to fulfil that order.

I have now contacted them twice about my order that was submitted on the 26/11.

They have not replied to either email and my order status has not changed, I will now open a paypal dispute.

I'm not pleased with the service from them, im on their emailing list too so they sent me the code via email! i only paid 25p per purchase as it was only some bath salts but i think they will lose a lot of custom from this, if you use a website which maybe you have never used before, has sent out a voucher to use, which has good customer service, and great products what are the chances we would shop there again? quite likely, on the other hand if you send out an email to your newsletter fans with a code, the customer orders, you decide you don't want to send the stuff but take the money anyway and provide no customer service at all by ignoring emails.. what are the chances these customers will return? lol

if they didn't want anyone using the code they should not have sent out an email with a code for money off products with no minimum spend.

I paid by card so i cannot raise anything with paypal either. i know its only 50p which im not too bothered about but i wanted them to go in a xmas present hamper so if they had no intention of sending them id rather they just told me so i can buy some different ones in time for xmas!
  • I chased my order of 26/11 via their Contact form and received no response. I've therefore gone ahead with a Paypal dispute to get my £4.75 back. Part of me wonders whether the company are in trouble, you just never know.
