Paypal gave me a refund! Yay! I made a claim with paypal a couple of days ago, and again LookFantastic failed to respond. So today I escalated it with paypal, thinking I didn't know if or when I'd actually get the money. And then on the same day I got the refund!

It was only 5.50, but when I think of what lengths I go to to find deals and save a few quid on items, then that amount isn't insignificant. I'm really happy with paypal right now, and will *never* shop with LookFantastic again.

I too just got a paypal refund! Lookfantastic then emailed the oos blurb email 5 mins after my refund notification........

Unreal, they take my money, keep it for 19 days then only stump up the refund when I chase them through Paypal!

I've got the 'oh we might send you the stuff or we might not, depending on how we ruddy feel like at the time' email for my three orders so who knows what's happening.

I really wish I'd paid by paypal though - then at least I could get a quick refund.

Even if this was a glitchy type of grabbit, they should have sorted themselves out a lot quicker than this - they keep sending me emails as well - ruddy nerve! :mad:

I got my money back in my bank today, but haven't had any emails off them.Very poor customer service IMO:mad:

Surprise surprise - all 4 of my orders using code were cancelled today. All of them were decent amounts even after I used the code so I'm very annoyed! Lookfantastic used to be one of my fave websites and they've hugely let me down over this

I'm also having another issue with them that I've had to escalate to a claim with PayPal about, wondering if anyone has had the same problem? I bought an Elizabeth Arden gift set for £22 on the 25th November, paid through PayPal. Money was taken within a couple of days but it never arrived. It's not in my order history on Look Fantastic (unlike everything else I've ever bought from them), and I've just done a search through all my emails - there is no email confirmation of my order. It's like a phantom order - except I'm £22 poorer for it!

I'm sooo confused! If it wasn't for my PayPal receipt and my bank statement I'd swear I was going crazy!

(oh and the £22 couldn't possibly be anything else... it says 'LookFantast' on my statement, and I've never bought anything else from LF that was anywhere near £22)

Not sure if anyone checked their bank account, but my order which arrived yday (redken set, £2.75) has also been refunded to me !

rubbish co and rubbish service - order cancelled 3 weeks ago and no email from the co - no refund as yet .... i hv deleted my info from their database ..

Paypal have found in my favour and have refunded me. Awful company and I will never deal with them again

Paypal awarded me a refund on the 15th, but I still haven't gotten it in my account. After looking about I found it can take up to seven days, so I guess one more day to go before I should worry. How long does it normally take to get a refund through paypal>

Now it's the 7th day, and the refund hasn't actually shown up yet. How long did it take others to get theirs?
