Cheers for comments.
I have just been to the Halifax website to check my balance and at the top where it says your account information next to my overdraft limit, which should be 250.00, and overdrawn by 170.00 they have put N/A does this mean that from now on I will get charged even more for being overdrawn without an overdraft? Without any notice given to me I think that it is very naughty of them.

Does the fact that I went into a branch to request my statements mean that they have 40 days from that day (15/01/07) to send all statements? Have i boobed right from the start by not sending them a letter?0

Hi,
I spoke to Customer Relations today to ask them to define 'write to you again shortly'. Spoke to a very nice woman who said that she couldn't give any idea about length of time because they are innundated. I responded that not to worry because I'll go to small claims court if I've not heard anything by end of week. She almost seemed to be encouraging me ??0 -

After letter before action was sent - i received an offer of £2030.
Phoned and told them this was unaaceptable and they then agreed to pay me the full amount of £3457 plus my court costs of £120 if i stop court action and of course i politely accepted.
DONT TAKE THEIR FIRST OFFER - STICK TO YOUR GUNS PEOPLE AND THEY WILL PAY UP!!!!
Good luck to all0 -

Nope nothing so far. I was hoping I'd have a letter offering me part/all of my claim like you did, so i wouln't have to go down the court route, as we were on the same timescale.0 -

I tried that this week and he said they don't do that anymore and that I had to write in and pay £10 which I have done.
