I would love to send the 2nd letter before that but i dont want to do ANYTHING wrong! i want my money and dont want to risk cutting corners would love some advice!
cheers
Dave
Hi Dave,
Yes, that's pretty much the conclusion that I've come to.Hopefully it will all be resolved soon!
I could certainly do with the money to pay off credit cards and stuff. :j
On that same note, I received a letter stating that 3 DD's have bounced at £39 each, plus £28 unauthorised overdraft fee. The annoyance stems from the fact that the companies in question are supposed to have moved the DD date to AFTER pay day and they obviously haven't.
And I know definitely that one of them took the details because they sent me a letter confirming my new address and I changed the DD date at the same time.
So that's another nearly £160 odd that needs to go on the charges letters.
Do I start a fresh request or tag it onto the end of the existing?0 -

You can add them to your claim up until you get to filling in the court claim.0 -
Hi all...
Have just calculated my bank charges for the past 6 years using Martins calculator, came to a suprising £3987.43p. Before I send the letter to the Halifax asking for it all back I was just wondering if anybody had had there overdraft facility withdrawn as a consequence. We have an overdraft of £800 and really need it by the time it gets to the end of the month. I'm not going to let the prospect put me off but would just like to know if it's going to happen. I guess it could be down to the individual branch, anybody got any info ??. Cheers...Stuart0 -

Am a bit scared too, but did you read one of the posts , yesterday I think. He actually rang, quoted his reference number and spoke to somebody to see what the hold up was. They said something like " it was on one of the piles" . After talking to them he soon put it on the top...
think I'll wait by the phone all day on monday:A Tomorrow's just another day - keep smiling0 -

All of the banks can and some do close accounts or call in their overdraft giving 28/30 days so you do have to think about getting a "parachute" account in place incase this happens.0
