halifax bank charges (merged)

Have finally received my list of charges from the Halifax...took a lot of effort to get them I might add.
Do I send the second letter to my actual branch? Or is there a head office address? Just wanted to know what people have used so far. (Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere before, I did check the forum as much as possible before posting.)
Many thanks.0 -

Either is permissible, though each have their own pros and cons.
When it gets to court you will need to issue to the head office address.Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.0 -
I have today phoned my bank as to where my money is ,I applied for it back in March without so much as a letter from them .
They have just informed me that it was valadated on 22nd April and that I will be receiving a payment ,she also said the banks have now been given 56 days (extra time) to pay out , is this true ,or are they just telling me porkies?,if so what do I do next ?0 -

Porkies.
Next time ask them who gave them the 56 days, it certainly wasn't you and you're the one running the show as far as your charge claim is concerned.Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.0 -

"Further to your letter, am pleased to enclose the information you requested. I hope this has provided you with the details you require, however if there is anything you wish to discuss then please feel free to get in touch.
In your orginal letter you enclosed a payment of £10. As the Halifax has decided not to charge for requests such as this. I have cancelled your cheque.
Blah, blah.
Shock the halifax are being nice!!!
No sorry you have all been mislead I have two pages of nothing that tell me very little. I am claiming for my other half and I have a list of dates and figures applied to the account with no explanation as to what has been applied and when so I am unsure I can claim this back.
I had no idea you had to know gibberish on order to deal with this lot!!!
Has anyone else had this letter saw a post earlier but cant find it now, help what do I do from this point
Just reading through the posts my hubby has had the exact same letter with a exception of we have ordered your statements, hmm that letter was 2 weeks ago... how long before statements arrive? and is it worth ringing?

I sent a letter to the Halifax on 18 April asking for my statements from the last 6 years. Does the 40 day allotted period include weekends or is it a straight 40 days because as yet I have received or heard absolutely NOTHING!! Is this normal or am i being ignored ?? Please advise !

She has complained to IC, tried phoning the suggested dedicated reclaiming charges telephone number at Halifax but is just on hold - once for 30mins! She's written twice more, but no response, it appears that she is powerless. What do I suggest to help her now?
Hi I am in the same position.
I wrote on 1st March, again on 20th March and they cashed my chq on 12th April. Despite numerous calls and a thousand phones calls with promises that they are on the way, I still do not have had them.
I have today written the to the Information Commsioner to complain and have sent a copy to the Halifax. I have given up as it is starting to make me ill. I will give it 14 days and then contact the FSO!!!!!!!!
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Thank you0
