how far down the procedure did you have to go, was that the amount they charged you or did you agree a settlement?
  • We sent off £20 for our two Halifax accounts...we only received statements for one account.
We sent off our first letter, Claiming (Without Interest added) and have received a letter today from Customer Relations Officer stating that they will investigate and we will receive a reply no later than 4 weeks.

Is this how it's been going for everyone else ?

The other Halifax account I have phoned and they are now sending me statements....so I am behind schedule.

Thank you to everyone on this forum for all sharing your info and offering so much help.

i got the Customer Relations letter advising they would reply by 3rd feb - i consider this not to be a "full response" as requested in my second letter so i entered my claim using the small claims website online yesterday

You can send the next two letters to your local branch. They will forward it onto any relevent department if needed.

If you are giving a 14 day deadline in the letter. How are you going to make this go quicker?

We are only giving advice because we know what works through experience. If you choose not to accept/follow any advice, that's fine.
