Hi I wrote to halifax asking for six years worth of statements with a ten pound postal order for them two weeks ago and still had nothing!! has anybody else had this problem? I sent it recorded!

They have up to 40 days. It took about that long and a half hour phonecall before I recieved mine, however I also have a Bank of Scotland account and I requested my bank statements over the phone, it only cost £5 and I recieved them a week later

I've rang them about 3 times now and every time they say the same "we have 8 wk's to sort it all out" Which means they have until the 15th May to give me an offer. after reading the posts on here i am however going to nring them tomorrow and state that on my original letter i stated i wanted a full answer in 14 days, that was nearly 2 months ago.

Anyone know how long it takes to get the money back in your account if you actually accept the offer given to you?

    Xx

Don't quote me, but I believe that all claims begin at Northampton County court, but as long as they aren't defended, then they revert to your local County Court. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong! I've found the staff at my local County Court really helpful; You can ring them wiv a query too.
