Just called the Halifax for the Address to send my DPA request, and they said they now provide a list of charges for free and they would be ordered for me and would take about 10 days.

Will let you know if they ever turn up, otherwise i will be sending the standard letter with the £10 fee.

Afraid so I originally ordered mine in December got them yesterday.

I think reaper and myself are on a personal mission now to state that just go to your local branch they really are helpful and I got my statements seven days later and no charge.

    Best of Luck

Hi can anyone answer, can you just claim back 6 years of charges, or can you claim back ALL the charges on your account ?

    Hi
I am new to all this and have read this thread with interest. Thanks for everyones advice.

I have this evening called Halifax and requested 6 years of statements for the two accounts I hold with them. I was told it would take approx 4 weeks and has cost me £5.00.

If you want your list of charges quickly, rather than waiting the 40 days
or more, just ring 08457 20 30 40, and press 5 to speak to someone.

I'll keep you all posted about what happens.

I hope it works for you but I have written on 3rd April, phoned 26th April and written again and received nothing! So dont believe all they tell you. I am personally going into my local branch tomorrow morning to get them cos I am not waiting any longer.

Will let you know if I get them.

It has been done on another site. Someone was lucky enough to get more than 6 years of charges back but to be honest I would be prepared for a long and hard battle if you intend to do this.
They took my signature away!!!!
